The way to heaven is on horseback

So today was my dad's birthday so I had to wake jack up early, well early for him but late for most other people, before we went to meet my mum, dad and robert at the Bridge Inn, my favourite pub for food in the world! It is AMAZING! I had the smothered chicken in BBQ sauce with chips, it's chicken, bacon, and melted cheese, with BBQ sauce over the top of it and Jack had BBQ ribs and chicken with chips, (my) onion rings and corn on the cob, and as normally we split it in half and had half of each others.  After this I went to do some jobs for Nicki (my new boss and friend) I went to get the wormers for Arthur and Bella, as well as a bag of ready mash for them. Then went to see Magic, who is doing great. Today was his first day in as they all stayed in, tomorrow he will go out on his own and then Wednesday he'll start off out on his own and then I'll move him over to the other field later in the day. Sorry for the lack of posting over the past few days, things have been pretty boring and I have had nothing spectacular to write about, so I have chose not to right about anything. So what's new here, the first thing that is new is...... I PASSED MY LEVEL 1: HORSE CARE AND MANAGEMENT! I sent off my work in between Christmas day and New Years Day, I got an email on the 10th saying that they were part way through checking my work and that it should be completed soon then on the 14th I got an email to say that I had passed my level one and could start my level 2! I got my scores back and there was 56 questions and I only got 6 questions wrong, I was so excited about this and I proved to myself that I know more about horse care than I actually thought that I did, now all that I need to do is pass my Level 2! I proved to myself that all I really need to do is believe in myself.  Magic is doing really really well, I now have a Magi-cam so i can keep my eye on Magic when i ...

Every year it gets to the new year and people go it's a 'fresh start' or it's a 'new me' however personally I don't always think this is true, so that's why this year I haven't said that all I have said it's time to improve myself. Last year and to be honest the year before have not been good years for me, but I'm not going to let that hold me back anymore!  So on to my news, Magic is doing really well. He actually managed to go out in the field for a small amount of time today, still not with others, but he was out in a field being a normal horse. The vets came to see him on friday and said that he's looking great! They were really happy with his progress, he's now completely off all of his medication and while he's really to be on minimal turnout for at least the next two weeks it's a step in the right direction. So it's been such a LONG time since I have blogged and I really do miss it so much, I keep saying that I am going to get back in to it and I really do plan on doing this but with Magic being poorly and one thing after another, time just runs away with me. So first of all Merry christmas I hope that you all had a fantastic time!  Merry Christmas from my amazing little man and I.  So I got some amazing presents off my family they included, a framed clipping of Magic's hoof, from the first time that Magic was ever trimmed by the farrier! His feet were just so tiny. I got a lovely charm off my daddy for my pandora bracelet and two charms from my boyfriend he really did surprise me. He got me a pudsey charm that I have been wanting for a long time, and a charm that says 'home sweet home' and is a home, to represent our new home next year, but more to come on to that later! wow it's been a long time since i've updated here, but I haven't forgotten all you guys! I also want to get back in to blogging as I haven't done it in a while.  So I'm going to start with an update on Magic, the quick summary is Magic's poorly. On the 15th November, I went up to check on him. He was lying in his stable and he couldn't get up, he could get his front legs up but not his back, eventually I got him up with the help of Jack. He came out of the stable hopping lame, I eventually managed to get him walking around the school and he was slightly weight bearing on his back legs. However when he was standing still he would hold one leg up, then switch to holding the other back leg up and he would just constantly do this. The vets came out and were completely baffled by him they put him on bute, and said to give him gentle turn out, so this is what he did but he didn't improve if anything he got worse.  Then he came in one day looking even ...

The past two days have been even quieter. Monday I didn't do a lot, jack and I are working on our car at the moment, so we spent a good two hours tinting the windows while the dogs were running around in my mums garden. It took ages to get the back window right, and it's still not perfect but for a first time trying it I don't think it was that bad either, now all we have left to do is the two front windows (not the windscreen). We then came back to the flat, where Jack chilled out on the playstation and my body decided that I needed some sleep, so I spent about 4 hours sleeping. I saw Magic, and gave him a good brush. He's turning in to a really fluffy baby at the moment, I love this time of the year he goes LOADS darker and becomes super fluffy and cuddly! I also gave Ghost a brush, as his owner is still injured and unable to see him so I figured it would be nice to give him some love and attention.  Today has been another day where I have done the square root of...

Well the past few days have been interesting to say the least. After our long walk with Magic on Thursday, we spent the day chilling out on Friday. We spent the morning playing games, and catching up on what was on T.V. before heading over to my mums with the dogs. While they spent a good few hours playing out in the garden, Jack and my mum made brownies, and I spoke to my dad for a bit. Before Jack and I then decided to fit our new speakers in our new car. It took us a while to do it but we managed it in the end. We then came home and chilled out, while Jack started playing our new game Mafia 3 I spent some time watching T.V.  Saturday was another quiet day,  I didn't see Magic today, as to be honest I was exhausted. He hadn't been in and he didn't need anything doing to his stable (I did check) so I left him out in the field with his friends for a few days.
