I'm Back!

Sorry guys I know it's been quite a while but to be honest I just haven't been in that much recently and then when I have been in I've been too tired to do any blogging. But I'm trying to sort out and get the blogger app working on my phone so that I can update on the move.  Well life on the riding front is slowly moving forward, we haven't done any excessive work recently firstly because of the heat that we have had (it's just been too hot to work the horse) and when it's not been red hot we've had bad storms here! Secondly because Gats, hasn't been 100% sound. He's developed arthritis in his pastern in his front legs and the joints are fusing together in his hock on both back legs. He's also had the chiropractor out to adjust his back and he is now being rode in a dressage saddle that is being temporarily loaned to him until Jenny buys him a new one (we could be waiting a while). Riding Gatsby in a field - 5th July 2014 - VIDOES!

Hiya guys sorry it's been a while again,  well I had the most amazing lesson on Gatsby that I have had in a while on Saturday. We started off walking around the field (which is on a slight hill) and then we moved on to doing some trot work. I had to adjust to keeping him balanced going uphill and down hill because eventually I wou...

WOW

I was just looking on my blog stats and so far today  I have had 113 pageviews today this is the most that I have ever had! So i just want to say thank you everyone for taking the time to look at my blog! Now on to some important noise that I missed out of my post about my 'own a pony day', while i was mucking out Gatsby's stable Fiona came to talk to me and I started to ask her questions about owning my own horse. The first I asked was If when the time was right and I went to look at a horse would she mind coming with me and the answer was that she would be happy too. She asked about what type of horse I wanted was it a Gelding or a Mare. Well the majority of you will know I am a gelding fan so that is what I picked, and what breed was a looking at wanting and I said an Irish Sports Horse. Fiona then said that closer to the time she would be happy to help me and would look around and be able to find me one as she had lots of different contacts. I was so excited my nex...
