Mucking Out and Chilling Out

Today has been a relatively simple day, although at the same time it has been a completely exhausting day! I woke up in time to get dressed have some toast and go out the door to be at the yard for 8am this morning. When we got there we turned all the horses out and got to work on mucking out, I was going a lot slower than normal because I think I've pulled the muscle in my left leg so putting pressure on it is either completely fine or a nightmare. When we had got all the stables mucked out and some of them had their haynets put in, we decided it was time for a cup of tea! Fiona arrived to say hi with Daniel while we were drinking our tea and as they were leaving we decided to move on to doing the rest of the haynets. Well Elaine walked towards the hay barn only to find that in the middle of the Hay Barn was Sam! Sam had managed to get in and was standing munching on they hay, what can I say he's a horse with character? When Elaine went to take him out of the barn he then dec...

Long Tiring Day

I managed to find that I could change my template to a two column template instead of three column template and I have to say I much prefer the two column to the three, I think it gives the blog a better look and makes you look at the post more not what is on the rest of the page. Today has been a really tiring day and it's not that I have done a lot because in reality I haven't done a lot. When I got up my Mum and I put Jeremy Kyle on and I started doing some art work, I should have two A1 Sheets for tomorrow and I might have (if I do an artist study tonight) but it's more than likely that I will leave it at one sheet. Today the doctor and the district nurse came to see Nan and although she says that she feels rough to them she looks to be improving which is the most important thing, but as the do goes on she becomes harder to move, her breathing worsens and her speech becomes hard to hear. Tomorrow is a full day of school for me, I have english Literature first l...

First day back at sixthform.

Hey Everybody! I'll start off by letting you all know that my nan is still in hospital, we were originally told the earliest that she would come home would be Wednesday (tomorrow) however this might not happen because she still hasn't had the Echo-cardiograph that she was supposed to have had two days ago! I haven't been to visit her since Sunday but both my mum and uncle have seen her every day since then. I think that she is feeling a bit better but am not entirely sure, fingers crossed she will be home soon though! Nan's even said 'I was supposed to go home last weekend, now it's next weekend. How many more weekends will they add in'. I do feel really sorry for her as she hates hospitals and was told that it would only be the weekend and obviously things are getting changed. Today was my first day back in school since before half term it was a full day and I had all of my subjects, in English we have just started a new book called 'White Devi...
