The way to heaven is on horseback

Today has been a wicked day, I did not get to ride because my riding teacher was not very well but I did go on a long walk with magic. We walked from my stables to my house and back to the yard again.  In total it took one hour and 20 minutes, and it was a total of nearly four miles but it was so much fun. This is the first long distance walk that my boy has done and he was amazing.  He only spooked twice, and neither time was his fault both times it was because of idiotic drivers that decided to do 60 and 70 miles per hour past him and to say that pissed me off was an under statement. I've also lost 4 pounds since Thursday and  honestly I do not think that I could have done that without my fitbit tracker and app. It has been such a great motivation and today I have managed to get all my sections that I need in the green in the green. So today I should have gone to ride Gatsby for my weekly saturday lesson, but last night we had a torrential down pour and the school ended up flooding. I was feeling majorly bummed because it means that it will be three weeks since I've rode Gatsby, when I next get on him, due to ill health and stupid weather. So I decided that instead of going to see Gatbsy I would go and see Magic, we didn't leave until later on in the day as the weather was horrible so I was hoping it would pass but it didn't, however by the time I got to yorkshire, it was quite dry there. Magic was in his field with his mum, who hasn't actually got her name so I'm probably just going to call her M.M. (aka Magic's mum). unfortunately i can't tell you about my riding lesson as i did not have one! Me, my mum and dad went up and got told the lesson had been cancelled because a pony that fiona had, had for a long time has been put to sleep this morning! :( this has also give me a bit more respect for because as my mum says it shows just how much she cares about each individual animal and doesnt think of thme as a job until next time A Girl With A Dream.
