Absolutely Buzzing

So as you have all guessed that tomorrow is my day with Gatsby! I go up to West Hallam Riding Centre for 9am and I am going to be there until 2pm, I have no idea what I am going to be doing but I can not wait to find out what the day will bring. I have decided to take a note book (smaller than A5 size) to jot down things that I learnt from the day so that I can share them all with you guys! I am also taking my camera with me because then I will have pictures for you to guys to see and it will help break up the post, as I have a feeling that tomorrow is going to be a long post. While on our swimming trip tonight my mum and I were talking about what I would be doing and we have guessed the basics but think that Fiona will make it more interesting because she likes to push people and make people work hard, which at first I didn't think I was going to like but I absolutely love it. I think its because it is pushing my riding skills which is something that no-one has ever really done as I've been in a mixed group with different levels of riders.

On to the next thing, the dreaded subject, that is called Art. Today I did some more art but not as much as I wanted to and I am kind of gutted about that but I have been feeling really tired all day and with the amount of drawing that I did yesterday the hand that I have broken twice is really starting to hurt. So I did the main bit of colouring in and will finish the rest of the colouring in tomorrow or maybe at the weekend.

Well I am really tired so I am going to end the post here!

Until Next Time

CON ARTIST - NICKI WILLIAMS - BEWARE

Okay so this post has taken me a while to post for several reasons but the main one being just how angry this woman has made me.  For those of you that have been following my blog for a long while you will know that back around October of 2016, I was introduced to a woman called Nicki Williams, she was a friend of a friend that was supposed to be opening a centre for rehoming and rescuing animals, but also for horses working with soldiers that has PTSD. We hit it off straight away and came what I thought to be good friends. However warning bells should have probably rang sooner. By January or February of last year the horses that I had agreed to look after (that she had got on loan) Bella and Arthur, she was being threatened that she would have them taken off her by the control of horses act, because she hadn't been paying the rent for the field. Although Nicki reassured me that she had done, she even showed my 'payments' that had been made to Angie. I ended up getti...

Magic's 2nd day in his new home

It has been a while since I have posted on here but I thought it was the perfect time to restart the blog. So to start with I'll give you all an update on what's been going on over the years since I've posted and then I will be back to regularly posting and keeping you all updated on the world of magic.  The first big change who I need to introduce is Jaxon, Jaxon is mine and Jack's 7 month old baby, he was born on the 7th July 2020. Part of this blog will be dedicated to overcoming the challenges of having a small child and owning a horse, even when everyone told me it was impossible to do. Jax has a best friend Bailey who is mums new 1 year old puppy and he has the best time trying to play with her.  Of course Magic is one of Jaxon's best friends.  Now for an update on Magic, he is doing really well, I can't remember if I ever told you, but he moved yards last year when I was pregnant with little man. Unfortunately this yard just didn't quite ...

Olympics - good bad or both?

In the Beijing Olympics in 2008 the horses used in the pentathlon were said to cause farcical scenes with fall after fall after fall. This was said to be the fault of the horses that were either hired or loaned to the competitors. It was not blamed to be rider error or a combination of both rider error and horse error, it was labelled as being the horses fault or this is what it said in ' Horse and Hound Magazine'. This horse was said to have been to spooky and sharp, but is it not a combination of rider's aids and rider error AS WELL as the horse being spooky. Can we really just blame it on the horse, when we are the ones that tell the horse what to do, by no means am i saying it was 'just the riders fault' couldn't it have been a combination of both?.    For the London 2012 Olympics it was said that a total of two years if no longer was spent attempting to find the right horse for the right competitor. They made sure that the horse was at the right l...
