Liebster Blog Award - Take Two

First of all I would like to say a huge thank you to Marissa at a Horseshoes and Hearts Blog, I love reading her blog and if you aren't following her then head over and check her out! She has a good way of writing.

I also got nominated for this earlier so you can go to this page to see my 11 random Facts and also the blogs that I nominated. Now on to the questions, I love answering these I find that they are a great way for everyone to learn more about me!

1) What is you biggest accomplishment with horses?

For those of you that have been reading my blog for a while you will know that I had a bad fall off another horse and almost broke my shoulder and collar bone. After that I still enjoyed my riding but Iw as more nervous about it. My biggest accomplishment is the fact that on Gatsby I can now canter without worrying! I've even started jumping again!

2) Do you have any hobbies apart from horses that you love?

Good question! I used to LOVE art you would always catch me doing something to do with art, I also adore photography and have set up my own business based on horse photograph combining my two favourite hobbies together.

3) What is your ultimate goal that you are working towards with horses?

To own my own! I've always wanted one and am now saving up again to buy one! I then would like to be able to do competitions with my own horse and say where things go from there.

4) What is your favourite tv show?

Eastenders!

5) What Kind of music do you listen to?

Rock, I love all the old classics like queen, pink floyd, those kind of artists!

6) What is your personal love story? (with a husband/boyfriend/ex? If you don't want to go that deep, with a hobby? Or more obviously, with horses?)

That would be Gatsby! This horses has helped me through so much, the first time I saw him I said that I wanted to ride him and I haven't looked back since! He's helped me out through being bullied in school, being ill and building my confidence. He's a truly amazing horse.

7) What is your favourite love story? (Movie, books, etc?)

This is a tough one as I don't tend to read love story books or watch them on film, I'm more an action packed murder mystery kind of girl. I suppose the closest I've got is the Cross Fire Series by Sylvia Day.

8) What is the most important thing to you when looking at a horse boarding facility? (Obviously our horse care is the first and foremost thing. So lets skip that one and be really picky and selfish. So basically what is your favourite thing at your barn that you couldn't live without, or the thing that you most wish you had. Lighted Arena? Indoor Arena? Covered Tack area? Trail access)

It's going to sound kind of cheesy but for me the best thing about my stables is the atmosphere! I couldn't be at a barn where there was a bad atmosphere, where I am now everyone is friendly and helps  each other out we also always have a laugh and I've got so many amazing opportunities because of the people that work there and own it!

9) What is the most lavish thing you ever had at a barn? Or considering a lot of us board at something that is awesome for the horse and not so awesome for us, what do you wish you had in your wildest barn dream? (Air Condition riders lounge? Heated Tack Area? Showers and lockets for riders? Couches?)

The most lavish thing that I would dream of having would be either an Air conditioned riders area, where you can chat and chill out but still be with your barn friends and also be able to watch and see who else is riding in the school. The second thing would be heated stables so on the really cold, snowy and icy winter nights the horses are nice and toasty! I'd probably want to live in the horses stable lol!

10) I think my questions have been pretty awesome, but I'm seriously running out of steam, Did you guys like my questions?

Yeah they were really good questions! I especially liked 8 and 9!

11) Who is your hero and why?

This is kind of a tough one as I don't really have a hero, however there are a couple of people I admire so I'll just go with them instead! The first is Carl Hester his riding is amazing he makes it looks so easy and I would love to meet him one day. The next two aren't to do with riding but I love them anyway and thats Nicholas Cage and Char Kroeger they have both worked so hard to get where they are in life and are so amazingly talented, I wish I had just a little bit of their talent! Another person that inspires me is my mum! I don't tell her this enough, she's so strong and determined and positive thinking even when things are the worst they can be! No matter how bad things are she keeps going and I wish I could do this!

Once again thank you Marissa! Now go and check her blog out!

Until Next Time

CON ARTIST - NICKI WILLIAMS - BEWARE

Okay so this post has taken me a while to post for several reasons but the main one being just how angry this woman has made me.  For those of you that have been following my blog for a long while you will know that back around October of 2016, I was introduced to a woman called Nicki Williams, she was a friend of a friend that was supposed to be opening a centre for rehoming and rescuing animals, but also for horses working with soldiers that has PTSD. We hit it off straight away and came what I thought to be good friends. However warning bells should have probably rang sooner. By January or February of last year the horses that I had agreed to look after (that she had got on loan) Bella and Arthur, she was being threatened that she would have them taken off her by the control of horses act, because she hadn't been paying the rent for the field. Although Nicki reassured me that she had done, she even showed my 'payments' that had been made to Angie. I ended up getti

possible broken hand x3.

hiya guys well it's been a few days and I was planning on updating you all today. Unfortunately I won't be able to go in to as much detail as I want to because I am having problems typing because it looks like for the third time I have broken my hand again!  In the exact same place, how rubbish is that? But they can't tell me because it will not show up for another two weeks on an X-ray so at the minute it's back in a splint and I've got to go back to hospital in two weeks.  Well Saturday I got to ride Gatsby again. We have been working on getting him in to an outline more consistantly but it took me seeing Fiona riding Pumpkin Pie for me to know what it was that I needed to do for Gatsby to work properly in to an outline. We got some really good work in the walk and trot (I have got pictures) and slowly we are starting to get it in the canter as well but by the time we move on to canter I tend to feel quite tired and weak on my left side. We did an exercise th

Hello strangers!

Wow it feels like a life time ago since I updated my blog let alone since I actually started first writing this blog. So many things have changed and I’ve kept thinking about restarting this but every time I think about doing it life gets in the way and before you know it I just haven’t done it.  So where do I start, how about with the big fella himself. My midnight magic is now 8! He has a heart of gold and after a particularly rough year is definitely coming out of the other side. Magic is a jumping lover and if you let him pick I think that’s all he’d ever do. He’s spent a lot of time working on his flat work which in the long run has really helped to develop his jumping. Last year magic suffered a horrible injury, he damaged his suspensory ligament on his front left leg and on the same leg damaged the collateral ligament that goes to his coffin joint, unfortunately for him he had a pretty bleak prognosis, with only a 30% of being even field sound. With a little bit of luck, blood,
