Skegness Part one.

Yesterday I went to Skegness, we left early in the morning and it was a really long day. We left at 5:45 and got to Skegness for 9:00 in the morning it was earlier but it was good, I liked the fact that you could watch all the people setting up the rides, and that you could see them sending the Roller coasters round. To get them warmed up, it meant that I could see where they go before I decided whether or not I was going to go on any of the rides.

When everything was more likely to be open, this was about 10:30 we decided that we would go for a walk around the market, as I was walking around I kept mark of things that I liked so that I didn't buy things and then see something and think 'I wish I had bought that instead'. When we went all the way round while Dean got some drinks, Sue and I went to get the top that I decided was the one thing that I wanted, when I got there I realised that it said one size fits all and there was no where to try the top on so I decided not to get it. So I went on to my next favourite thing this was a pair of red satin high heels, with a ankle strap that you Velcro in place and had diamante on them at the end, I fell in love with them when I Saw them but thought that the top would be the better idea.

We then sat in the car again for a bit watching all the rides going round, it was coming up to lunch time so we decided that we were going to a Pub called the Look out. It had got that name because it was right on the sea front and you could just look and see the sea. It was a really good lunch, the food was nice but the portions were big I had a kids meal chicken nuggets and chips and it was nearly as big as the adult meals, I couldn't believe but it was really nice.

When we'd finished there we moved a bit further down the beach and just sat on the sea front talking and watching the sea come in and out. We had an ice cream, that was really nice, double flake 99 all the way! At this point the heat was really picking up so we decided that we would spend the rest of the day just watching the sea and relaxing which was nice as my legs were killing from walking around so much. Towards the end we went on the beach for a bit and me being me I decided that I was going to walk along the beach with the water lapping at my feet which was really nice, and then I started seeing all these shells, so I decided that I was going to start collecting shells to!

At about 6:30 the wind started picking up so we decided that we would start heading home but take it nice and easy. We went back a different way to the way that we came. It was nice because there was lots of really cute little cottages and lots of different animals we even went past a really cute deer farm and you could see all the deers out in the fields which was really cool. We got back around 9:00 and I spent an hour talking to my mum and watching some TV and then I went to sleep.

CON ARTIST - NICKI WILLIAMS - BEWARE

Okay so this post has taken me a while to post for several reasons but the main one being just how angry this woman has made me.  For those of you that have been following my blog for a long while you will know that back around October of 2016, I was introduced to a woman called Nicki Williams, she was a friend of a friend that was supposed to be opening a centre for rehoming and rescuing animals, but also for horses working with soldiers that has PTSD. We hit it off straight away and came what I thought to be good friends. However warning bells should have probably rang sooner. By January or February of last year the horses that I had agreed to look after (that she had got on loan) Bella and Arthur, she was being threatened that she would have them taken off her by the control of horses act, because she hadn't been paying the rent for the field. Although Nicki reassured me that she had done, she even showed my 'payments' that had been made to Angie. I ended up getti...

Magic's 2nd day in his new home

It has been a while since I have posted on here but I thought it was the perfect time to restart the blog. So to start with I'll give you all an update on what's been going on over the years since I've posted and then I will be back to regularly posting and keeping you all updated on the world of magic.  The first big change who I need to introduce is Jaxon, Jaxon is mine and Jack's 7 month old baby, he was born on the 7th July 2020. Part of this blog will be dedicated to overcoming the challenges of having a small child and owning a horse, even when everyone told me it was impossible to do. Jax has a best friend Bailey who is mums new 1 year old puppy and he has the best time trying to play with her.  Of course Magic is one of Jaxon's best friends.  Now for an update on Magic, he is doing really well, I can't remember if I ever told you, but he moved yards last year when I was pregnant with little man. Unfortunately this yard just didn't quite ...

Olympics - good bad or both?

In the Beijing Olympics in 2008 the horses used in the pentathlon were said to cause farcical scenes with fall after fall after fall. This was said to be the fault of the horses that were either hired or loaned to the competitors. It was not blamed to be rider error or a combination of both rider error and horse error, it was labelled as being the horses fault or this is what it said in ' Horse and Hound Magazine'. This horse was said to have been to spooky and sharp, but is it not a combination of rider's aids and rider error AS WELL as the horse being spooky. Can we really just blame it on the horse, when we are the ones that tell the horse what to do, by no means am i saying it was 'just the riders fault' couldn't it have been a combination of both?.    For the London 2012 Olympics it was said that a total of two years if no longer was spent attempting to find the right horse for the right competitor. They made sure that the horse was at the right l...
