Christmas Presents '14.

So Christmas is now over for another year, but I decided that I would let all my amazing followers see what I got for Christmas this year. There are other things that I haven't put on here that I've not got around to photographing yet like my wicked necklace off Jacks family :) it's a locket with three charms in it, a unicorns head, a pegasus and a glittery heart. I also got money that will be going towards my horse fund, slowly but surely I will get there!

The biggest surprise for me this christmas was my new lights to use with my photography. I hadn't been expecting them at all, they came with two umbrellas. One is a silver reflective umbrella, this gives more focused areas of lighting and the other is a white umbrella, that gives a broader area of light which is much softer.

Quick Selfie taken using my new lights and my phone, not to bad if I do say so myself, this used the reflective umbrella in front of me (face on) and the see through white umbrella by where the stool is in this photograph, I think doing this gives the photograph of myself a soft look.
I did get two of each of my types of umbrellas. I love my new lights, I've got to learn how to use them properly but I can not wait to see what happens.
Off my sister, she was quite predictable as she always tends to get me the same sorts of things :) but I always love them (these photo's below were all taken using my new lights). She also got me a pair of pink slippers with white bobbles on them. Then she got me the smells that she always gets me.

I also got the new Step Up 5 DVD, something I have been wanting to watch for ages and yes it is just as amazing as it looks. I've always been a fan of the step up films along with the Bring It on Films and have watched all of them over and over again, this is the only one that I hadn't seen, and it definitely lives up to it's expectations. I also got the new David Guetta CD, I have not listened to it yet but I know that it is going to be amazing! I've heard one of the songs off it and loved it so just need to listen to the rest now.

Chocolates! I also got a really cool Jelly Baby Man, that was filled with Jelly babies to eat it is just so cool! I love it, I'd seen it ages ago and said that Jack would love it so I was surprised when I got one too. Every year before my nan died she used to get us a chocolate selection box off 'Santa' for christmas, my mum has carried it on but now it is Thorntons.
Presents off my uncles, the stone thing, is an owl ornament. My uncle knows that I really like owl things so decided that he was going to get me it. Totally not what I expected. But then my Uncle Neil always tends to surprise me. The charm however is something that I was expecting more, every year my Uncle Robert gets me a new charm for christmas this year he got me an epic Nemo charm I love it!

I think that this is probably my second favourite christmas present, the first being my lights, then this and my necklace off jacks family and then my charms and sisters things are at the same sort of place. I've been needing a new purse for ages and my mum surprised me with this EPIC pink purse made of a suede leather sort of material. I LOVE IT. It is so soft! Then of course BlackXS for those of you guys that have been following my blog for a while you will know that my mum always manages to get me BlackXS, this is a new one that I hadn't tried before but I love it.

Attempting to be artistic and looking at the use of aperture in this photograph, I think that it is quite effective.

So that is Christmas over for another year, we haven't had any more snow today and fingers crossed we won't get to much more but you just never know with the British Weather. I've just spoken to Jack's mum and she was telling me that they have given out more snow for Monday night and Tuesday Night, so we will have to wait and see what happens with that.

Also Jack rang today, we had a great conversation and a wicked laugh. That boy knows how to make me smile and laugh especially when he tells me that I shouldn't go outside because I might break something again. He's so cheeky but he is so funny. He makes me laugh! We had a really good chat and he said that he is going to try and ring me again soon, but I never know when I am next going to hear from him, he just tends to surprise me and call me. Normally he wakes me up like this morning, I'd been awake about 5 minutes when he rang. It's always a good start to the day even when he is in one of his sarcastic moods, I'm seeing him again on the 11th January but until then I will just have to live with phone calls and letters.

Anyway that's all for now.
Until Next Time

  2. Oooh so lucky getting the David Guetta album!! I love his music although I was a little disappointed to find out he isn't actually singing in most of them. He just produces them and puts his name on them with a featuring whoever actually sang it. I have no idea if that made sense... for example one of my favorites is Titanium. It is listed as David Guetta featuring Sia, but Sia is the only one who sings in it. It was a little misleading, but I still love it. :)

    1. I know exactly what you mean I think it's a cheat and its the other artists name that should be on it and he should just be mentioned as the producer type thing if that makes sense. It was the Same with the song that he did called dangerous. His CD is nearly always on in my car. Xx

CON ARTIST - NICKI WILLIAMS - BEWARE

Okay so this post has taken me a while to post for several reasons but the main one being just how angry this woman has made me.  For those of you that have been following my blog for a long while you will know that back around October of 2016, I was introduced to a woman called Nicki Williams, she was a friend of a friend that was supposed to be opening a centre for rehoming and rescuing animals, but also for horses working with soldiers that has PTSD. We hit it off straight away and came what I thought to be good friends. However warning bells should have probably rang sooner. By January or February of last year the horses that I had agreed to look after (that she had got on loan) Bella and Arthur, she was being threatened that she would have them taken off her by the control of horses act, because she hadn't been paying the rent for the field. Although Nicki reassured me that she had done, she even showed my 'payments' that had been made to Angie. I ended up getti...

Magic's 2nd day in his new home

It has been a while since I have posted on here but I thought it was the perfect time to restart the blog. So to start with I'll give you all an update on what's been going on over the years since I've posted and then I will be back to regularly posting and keeping you all updated on the world of magic.  The first big change who I need to introduce is Jaxon, Jaxon is mine and Jack's 7 month old baby, he was born on the 7th July 2020. Part of this blog will be dedicated to overcoming the challenges of having a small child and owning a horse, even when everyone told me it was impossible to do. Jax has a best friend Bailey who is mums new 1 year old puppy and he has the best time trying to play with her.  Of course Magic is one of Jaxon's best friends.  Now for an update on Magic, he is doing really well, I can't remember if I ever told you, but he moved yards last year when I was pregnant with little man. Unfortunately this yard just didn't quite ...

Olympics - good bad or both?

In the Beijing Olympics in 2008 the horses used in the pentathlon were said to cause farcical scenes with fall after fall after fall. This was said to be the fault of the horses that were either hired or loaned to the competitors. It was not blamed to be rider error or a combination of both rider error and horse error, it was labelled as being the horses fault or this is what it said in ' Horse and Hound Magazine'. This horse was said to have been to spooky and sharp, but is it not a combination of rider's aids and rider error AS WELL as the horse being spooky. Can we really just blame it on the horse, when we are the ones that tell the horse what to do, by no means am i saying it was 'just the riders fault' couldn't it have been a combination of both?.    For the London 2012 Olympics it was said that a total of two years if no longer was spent attempting to find the right horse for the right competitor. They made sure that the horse was at the right l...
