Well guys I felt like it was time to give everyone an update on what's going on with magic. The short and simple of it is my boy decided too give me an extremely expensive Christmas that came out in the form of three different vet bills. A week ago tomorrow I had to have the vet out for the first time this was after a week of looking off on his back leg,she gave him bute and diagnosed him with having a locking back stifle. She recommended that he needed to be going out a little bit more than he has been , so Sunday I put him out in his knew field for the day and bought him back in at night time.

This brings us to Monday morning, I went to bring him out the stable and he was hopping lame. Que second phonecalls to the vets and second call out, as it was now his front leg that he was having problems with! I was reassures by the vet that came out that it was just a bruised heel to keep giving him bute and box  rest for a few days and that she couldnt tell me to ooutlice it due to the fact of if he kicked me I could hold her responsible. At this point there was no heat in his foot just sensitive to touch. Me being the overly cautious horse owner that I am decided to poultice his foot anyway. By the next morning his foot was red hot and stinking.

I asked my farrier to check him and got the confirmation that magic had got m infected popped abcess and a split frog. I got told to ring the vet again, I decided too ring a different vet they came out and gave him antibiotics and telling me to poultice his foot twice a day until the infection was gone then dry poultice it for a few days.
Today was magics first day back out in the field, his foot is still all wrapped up but he went back out as he is much happier and more himself now to see what tomorrow will bring. But for now I'm exhausted and want to cuddle up in bed with my man. I hope you have all had a wicked Christmas.

Amber and Magic

6 Months Old - Present Time

Thursday, 19 November 2015
Today Magic is 6 months old, and I was a nice horse owner and got him a present although at the moment I don't think that he really appreciates it. I've bought him a Dually Halter. Up until Bonfire night I was able to lead Magic everywhere, everywhere I went he came, he walked around the stable nicely, he was polite, he'd walk in the school, to the school and to the field, however since he got spooked on Bonfire night this has not been the case. He's started to only walk where he wants to walk to, until today. Today was the first day that he wore his new Red Monty Roberts Dually Head Collar and the difference in just one time of wearing it was amazing. He only had two stupid moments and calmed down quickly after both of them
My little monster out in the field munching on Hay, this is one of the first few times that he went out in the field.
I took him for a walk again tonight using his new head collar and the change in him is amazing! He leads so much better, he stays next to me, walks with his head at my shoulder like he's supposed to. He's even starting to stand properly, only for 10 seconds at the moment but hey it's a start right? Tomorrow we are going to do more work on leading and backing up, my aim at the moment is to try and keep his head where it's supposed to be and to keep him moving and walking freely. He seems to be understanding what I have asked of him so that's all I can ask for from him.
He always lies down when I'm there but this was with in the first week of me having him, I guess Magic just feels comfortable around me.
Now on to the bad news, I got suspended from University today unfortunately due to my ill health and the loss of my driving licence. Next september I get to go back and then all it means I'll do is start this year again, but as the saying goes only time will tell. So the only plus side to that is that I get to spend more time perfecting and training Magic.

The pony escapades and photos

Tuesday, 17 November 2015
I am trying to get back in to the swing of writing more often but with how I'm feeling at the minute finding the motivation is not always the easiest thing in the world. However I've got a spare few moments in between sorting Magic out and trying to sort everything else out so I thought now was the best time.

Magic is doing great at the moment I see him three times a day and the main thing that we are working on his picking up his back feet. At the moment he will happily (well as close to happy as a baby can be about these things) pick up his front feet and pick them out. However his back feet is a totally different story. One minute he'll let me touch his back legs the next minute he wants nothing to do with me being near his back legs. As I am a big fan of Parelli we are currently using the friendly game to work on picking up his back legs and he seems to be getting happier with the situation. The next thing that we are mainly working on is leading. Magic has been great to lead since the moment I got him, it's one of the things that he picked up straight away. However since the harsh weather he's got slightly more obnoxious about it and now likes to plant himself in one place and refuse to move. Eventually I'm going to teach him the driving game so I know that this will help him to understand things more, but until then I'm just trying to be persistent and NOT let him win. I'm also planning on buying him a Monty Roberts Dually Halter tomorrow, so I think that this might help as well.

Today he has been exceptionally naughty, he's tried biting and kicking and doesn't like the word no. However I think this was due to the fact he was tied up outside his stable while I was mucking out his stable and that it was just getting really really windy which was freaking him out. However he did eventually decide to listen and just calm down and be his normal self.

Right now on to the bit that you have all been waiting for PHOTOGRAPHS! I've got a huge amount of photographs from when he was a baby until the day that I got him and then thousands since them. So I'm going to attempt to get the photographs in age order but with that many this might be slightly hard.

Magic the day he came, he was quite skinny and underweight and didn't look the worlds best, however after he let me brush him for an hour he had a nice shiny coat. At this point he was quite frightened, but he was still trying to be very loving.

After I'd had him for a couple of days, I love the look of the Aquamax bedding but for a baby it just didn't work. Unfortunately he made it too wet.

Same day as the photograph that was taken above. See even though he was quite nervous he was still being very loving and kind. Although he is not so small!

Pretty face.

I have taken lots of photographs of him looking at his body because I wanted to see the progression in his weight, you can also see we moved on to straw bedding because he managed to keep this cleaner.

Selfie's with the pony, first or second time out in the field.

Example of planting himself in one spot and deciding that he doesn't' want to move.

Photograph taken three days ago, as you can see he is starting to look much healthier.

Starting to get used to traffic going past as he is not very keen on cars at the  moment however we made a BIG step and walked to the scary gate

Very brief catch up post

Saturday, 14 November 2015
Hi guys,

Well it has been a while since I have had time to blog but it's safe to say my life has just been a little bit hectic. Magic is now at home and I'm loving that. I get to see him everyday and his cute little face always looks happy to see me. Whole some days I really struggle with the early mornings other days I find it fine (however this will be explained more later). At the moment either my mum or I am at the stables three times a day.  For his breakfast, lunch and tea. I've had magic for about a month now. When I first got him he was struggling to maintain his weight, it kept going up and down.  However since changing his feed he is slowly putting his weight on and starting to look extremely healthy. He goes out in the field daily and will happily let me catch him all though at the minute his favourite game is playing let's break the electric fencing. I've taught him to pick his front feet up and have them picked out (although it is under great protest) and the past two days he has starTed letting me pick his back feet out to all though magic is not as keen on this. My next thing that I wanted to teach him is about rugging as we are currently going through some quite bad weather at the moment and it is said to just be getting worse. I will over load you guys with pictures soon.

As for my health it's slowly getting better.  I am currently on a mission to get fit, those of you that have me on Facebook will know that I have lost my driving licence. So I am currently getting the bus to places, doing plenty more walking and even doing some small amounts of cycling. I am starting using slim fast to lose weight as well as moderating my food in take and obviously with magic I am also a lot more active. On Thursday I was at the hospital and I have finally got some more answers about my stomach problems.  Part of the reason that I am being sick is the fact that my stomach takes twice as long as a 'normal' persons to digest food, so I get that he feeling of being fuller earlier and that leads to the sickness.  The second thing is that I am also being tested for Addison disease this is a problem with the adrenal gland and causes tiredness, vomiting, cramping and pins and needles, low moods and last but not least fatigue and no motivation more specifically in a morning.

But anyway guys I'm now off to sleep as I am feeling really tired. Tomorrow I will do a better magic up date and of course post lots of pictures.

Until next time
Amber Rose

The dreams finally becoming a reality.

Thursday, 1 October 2015
Well it's been a while since I've posted on here so thought that I might as well update you guys on every things so here goes.

Magic comes on Saturday and I am buzzing, it's Thursday today and I am off to get his stable ready soon, I've got his bedding Aquamax based on the simple fact that I really like it and think that it looks nice and I am hoping that he'll like it too. I've brought his feed and I think pretty much everything else that he needs. So now all I need is him and I am absolutely BUZZING. He's the biggest foal that they have bred this year and so far he has had a nice temperament he hasn't done anything deliberately mean or hurtful he's just been a foal. For those of you that have got me on Facebook you'll have seen that he is also getting quite people friendly. But once he's delivered I'm sure I'm going to have lots more to tell you guys about so that means I should be back to posting everyday.

Secondly I'm now back at University and the course is going well. I'm ahead in all my modules and really enjoying the work that I am doing. It's finally started to become more commercial based don't get me wrong some lectures still drive me insane and I end up really not seeing the point in them but the majority of them have been okay so far.

I've also set up my own side business its called 'Magic Personalisation' this is an embroidery business that focuses on personalising equine products so far I have done feed bucket covers and saddle cloths and numnahs (I will post pictures later on), if anyone is interested please feel free to head over to my Facebook page BY CLICKING THIS LINK - MAGIC PERSONALISATION FACEBOOK PAGE.   There is posts saying the prices for different items and later on I will be posting a full price list of all the products that I am going to be able to personalise.

Update post

Friday, 21 August 2015
Just a quick post from me today, sorry I haven't posted in a while, it's not even that I have been that busy I just haven't been on my laptop much recently and updating from my phone is a pain!  So what's new?

Magic is doing really well it's been a few weeks since I've seen him but he's good! Last time I saw him he was letting me touch him willingly and he was following me (or more I was following) and playing with him around the field! He's being delivered on the 10th Of October (which would have been my Nan's birthday), his stables sorted, I know what bedding I'm using. Now all I need to do is sort out feeding, worming, dentist and the farrier! Yeah not much at all, next joke lol. I've sorted out some rugs as my amazing riding teacher has kindly offered to give me some rugs for him. So that's all good.

Now on to the riding, I've been back riding either two or three weeks, since I broke my hand. It's going really well, my jumping is much more fluid and calmer. Ever since I got my new air body protector I have almost got a new confidence when it comes to jumping. Our flat work is  getting there slowly but surely I just need to build my stamina up more. I've been going to the gym again to lose more weight at the minute it's only once a week but I'm hoping to go more often soon.

What else? Hmm, Jack's got a new job, he's now working as a football steward. While the work isn't full time it is definitely better than nothing and it is also something that he seems to be really enjoying so that always helps! He's also looking in to joining another stewarding company to do all the big horse shows next year and also all of the festivals.

Oh and finally my health! It is still not 100% but I am slowly getting there, slowly but surely. I had an endoscopy about a month ago that came back all clear and I haven't been being as sick unless I get really stressed out so I'm trying not to do that to often. I am now booked in for another series of tests in the middle of September to see how fast my food is digesting, so hopefully this will give me the answers as to why my stomach is not quite right.

But that's all I can think about to post at the minute. Jack's at work tomorrow, and I've got a lesson on Gatsby. I'll be back tomorrow with another post. I'm going to try to get in to blogging more often again but I won't make any promises.

So until next time

Jumping Gatsby, A vertical Jump, the idea behind doing this was that I needed to work with the other rider and we had to do the jumps as if we were in a warm up ring. E.G. taking the opportunity to jump when there was a gap.

Magic and Jumping fun

Sunday, 12 July 2015
So Magic is doing really well, I haven't been up to see him much as unfortunately I am not very well at the moment. This is due to me crashing my car a few weeks ago. So it's fair to say I haven't had a good few weeks. My car was a complete write off. I've seen Magic twice since the accident but he was a little bit more apprehensive of me at the moment due to the fact that I had a splint on my wrist. But I still get videos and photographs of him even when I don't go to see him so that's always nice. I'm just wondering if anyone has any opinions of how to get a head collar on him and when I should do it?

But now on to the riding part of this blog, there will be videos and some photographs to follow later on in the week. yesterday I rode Gatsby. We rode in the school this week instead of the field, but we decided to work on some show jumping and it went really well! We did a baby cross jump and a baby vertical jump. My mum has recently bought me one of the new air jacket pop out body protectors and this was the first time that I had used it. I'll do a review on it one day but it is safe to say it's the comfiest body protector that I have ever worn, it hugs your body and just moves with you to be honest I forgot that I had got it on half of the time.

Gatsby was a star the whole time. We started off warming up on a long rein, making sure that he was nice and forwards and really stretchy, I kept him on a long rein in both walk and trot. Before picking him up again. I didn't ask for much of the outline because to be honest I didn't feel like I had the strength to do this. We then moved on to three trot poles and going over them, I did this with my flat length stirrups before putting them up about four holes to jump length.

The first jump that we did was off my bad rein (which I didn't realise until Fiona pointed it out to me), on this rein we just did a small cross rail. I started off by just coming up to the jump in trot but I didn't feel like I could get the flow right and I could feel Gatsby getting excited so I decided to move to jumping in canter and it felt great! We nearly almost got the strides right every time, there was only one where it went really wrong. We then switched reins and put the jump up to a vertical and again I felt quite nervous but decided to just canter up to it and it felt amazing! I honestly felt like we were flying Gatsby was foot perfect he was just amazing and I love him for it! He took real care of me. But by the end of the lesson both Fiona and I realised that my body protector was giving me that bit of an extra confidence boost and that was helping me to be the pilot not just go along for the ride.

so until next time

Visiting Magic - 16th June 2015.

Thursday, 18 June 2015
So I went to see Magic again, I don't want to bore you all with the posts as not a lot really happened but I want to keep my own personal record of how things went with him, so that I can look back in the future and see what things I've done and how I got there.

He's starting to get really curious about people, before when I used to get there he wasn't really bothered. When I got there this time he even neighed at me and it made my day, cause it means that he's starting to recognise me. When it was time to leave he also stood watching me go, but I really didn't want to go lol. He's starting to be interested in my camera bag, I left it on the floor the other day and I turned my back for two minutes and he'd got his nose in my bag looking around it, so I then sat down holding my camera and he kept wanting to come up to it and touch it. Then he'd realise I was holding it and change his mind. We also had a break through when it comes to me touching him, I started off by trying to stroke him and he wasn't having any of it, he didn't seem to like it when I moved my hand however he DID let me place my hand flat on his bum/back and hold it there for about 5 minutes before deciding to move. I was so buzzing about it and I got picture evidence!! So happy.

Photos to come on the next post.

Visiting Magic - 13th June 2015

Saturday, 13 June 2015
So today I should have gone to ride Gatsby for my weekly saturday lesson, but last night we had a torrential down pour and the school ended up flooding. I was feeling majorly bummed because it means that it will be three weeks since I've rode Gatsby, when I next get on him, due to ill health and stupid weather. So I decided that instead of going to see Gatbsy I would go and see Magic, we didn't leave until later on in the day as the weather was horrible so I was hoping it would pass but it didn't, however by the time I got to yorkshire, it was quite dry there.

Magic was in his field with his mum, who hasn't actually got her name so I'm probably just going to call her M.M. (aka Magic's mum). Magic was having a drink off his mum when I got there, so I started off by giving him some space and letting M.M. approach me first, with Magic followingly slowly behind her. Magic was even more curious today than he had been on Wednesday, he was getting quite close to me, all though he was still out of reaching distance. However after being there for a couple of minutes he did let me place my hand on his back and just hold it there for a few seconds, then he'd shift and I'd moved my hand away. He did this about 4 times before wandering off to do his own things. M.M was a bit Grumpy today, but I am putting it down due to the stormy atmosphere that is going on at the moment. I didn't take that many photographs but thought I'd share these two photographs.

This is a photograph of Magic at 22 days old, I love this photograph, because he just makes me laugh. He's starting to look really chunky, and it's amazing me watching how much he is growing even if he is less than a month old. It still seems surreal believing that he actually is mine.

This is Magic today at 25 days old, the difference that just three days makes really does amaze me, he's just changing all the time. I was going to do one of those fancy confirmation things that I see lots of people do when they're blogging but honestly? I don't understand how you do them, but hey if someone wants to let me know how to I'll do one :).

Until Next Time

22 Days Old.

Wednesday, 10 June 2015
Today my mum, Jack and I went to see Magic. It's a long drive so I only get to go every now and then, sort of once a week. He's growing loads, I am amazed by how quickly he's growing to be honest, I think he's going to be a big boy once he gets older. He's also really curious, every time I go and see him he's more and more interested in what I am doing and what I've got with me and it's just so much fun to watch him. The first time that I went to see him he wouldn't come anywhere near me, the next time he let me touch his nose, the time after that he let me stroke his back but then he would run away after. But today I decided to go with a different strategy, the weather was quite hot, so I chilled in the field, I just went there and switched between lying down in the field and sitting there, and that caught Magic's interest, he wanted to know what I was doing. Then after Jack had given Magic's mum a groom, and I'd given her some fuss, he let me stroke his back and this time he didn't run away. He let me do it about four times and then decided that he was tired and it was time for him to go to sleep. So he just lay down.

22 Days old today, he's growing so fast, I'd love to know how tall he actually is at the minute.

Sunday, 7 June 2015
Well I figured while I was dog sitting what better time to update my blog? For those that have me on Facebook you'll know that I haven't been very well recently, exactly a week ago I was in hospital and on Morphine, unable to eat or drink without throwing up everywhere, with a high temperature and extremely bad stomach cramps. The hospital couldn't tell me what was causing the pain but have told me to take it easy and not do a lot. So for the past week I've pretty much been bed bound or when I do go out not going very far. But I have had my amazing boyfriend looking after me, honestly he's been great, he knows how to deal with me when I'm ill but also knows how to kick my ass in to gear when it needs it, and my mum who has also been amazing, she's had to put up with my bad moods and hasn't even complained. So as I know you read this. Thanks mum! I haven't rode in over a week because I should have had my lesson yesterday but unfortunately I just wasn't well enough to do it. So it got cancelled and moved to hopefully one day this week.

Now on to the more exciting news MIDNIGHT MAGIC! He's doing really well, he's still not the worlds biggest fan of being touched but at only 19 days old I don't really blame him for that. Each time I see him I get to stroke him a little bit more but it is time and patience that will build that trust up with him, and that is only to be expected. I get frequent photographs and videos sent to me of him and I have been to see him three times so far, including the time that I decided to buy him, each time he lets me touch him a little bit more, at first it was just the tip of his nose and now he'll let me touch his bum.

My boy at less than 24 hours old.

Growing Quick, five days old.

This was the second time that I went to see him and he was eleven days old. He's very curious, and playful. Excuse the rubbish quality photograph it was taken on my phone.

Selfie with my little man

Always pulling faces lol, this was him at fifteen days old, and this was the third time that I have seen him,

I love this photograph of him, I am going to take my camera up when he's a bit older and get some proper photographs, only reason I haven't so far is he's quite spooky so I thought he might spook at the camera.
So my dream has finally come true but now I have got so much more to learn and to understand about raising a baby horse! Honestly I really probably don't have a clue what I am doing but hey, it's a learning curve. I'll probably make mistakes but I'll learn from them and Magic and I will grow together! For those of you that want to see photo's of magic as I put them on, I'll update my Facebook quicker so if you want a link to it feel free to let me know and add me :).

A Girl That's Dreams Coming True - Amber Rose

He has been named.

Saturday, 23 May 2015
Well I have finally got around to naming my baby horse and he is called magic for short. His posh/show name isn't set in concrete yet but it will be either mystical black magic, black magic or maybe even midnight magic, I've not decided yet, I just know that his name will be magic. I'll let you know more when I know more.

Now I wanted to ask whether you guys had an opinion on clicker training, and if you think it works or not. This is something that I haven't worked with before but am doing my research in to. I also wondered how you guys that have got baby horses got them used to wearing a head collar/halter and did you guys use a foal slip? Obviously I'm just learning and need to do lots more research but I would also be extremely grateful for any opinions or advice that you guys have!

In other news I have joined the gym and am on a mission to lose weight, tone up and get fit. Hopefully I'll start to see some results soon, but I'll keep you guys updated on all of that.

I rode Gatsby today and it went really well, we had another bareback ride today and it went really well. I only rode for 30 minutes because after that I started to feel really sick and had to get off to be sick. While I was riding we worked on walk and getting him in to an outline and O.M.G it was so much easier he just fell straight in to an outline.

But anyway i need to get jack from work soon so I'm heading off.
Amber Rose

I'm having a baby!

Wednesday, 20 May 2015
Well a baby horse that is! Haha I wonder how many of you thought something different with my post title. I hadn't though of any funny post titles in a while so I thought that this could be one. For those of you that have been following my blog you'll have seen my debate about whether I wanted to get an older horse or a foal and the decision that I came to was that I wanted a baby horse. The main reason for this was the horses history. At my yard, I've seen a few people that thought that they had got an amazing horse and then as time goes on without problems have been found to do with its past, so my thoughts with having a baby horse are the fact that I will know 100% the horses history. So back to what I was saying today I went and put down a deposit on a less than 24 hour old foal.
Colt, not named yet, born19th May 2015, to make between 16 and 17hh.

I went to see it today with my mum and Jack and got to meet the foal, the mum and the dad. Although the dad was absolutely MASSIVE! I mean this horse was over 18hands high. He was huge he made my 6ft 2inches tall boyfriend look small. I was like OH MY GOD, but both the mum and dad seemed to have the softest and most gentle personality ever. Photos of mum and foal, and of the dad will be shown and can be seen below on the post.

As I have only decided to do this today, I have not yet decided on a name or anything like that but I am quite liking the names, Black Magic, Black Jack, Diamond in the Rough (Diamond for short) or Black Diamond, so please feel free to let me know what you guys think. I've obviously got lots of things left to figure out and I can't wait for you all to follow me on my dream finally becoming a reality!

Until Next Time

New Experiences - Bareback.

Saturday, 16 May 2015
Well for those of you that have been reading my blog for a while you will know that I've always wanted to try riding bareback but that I have never had the opportunity to do it before. A couple of weeks ago I told Fiona that I really wanted to do it and explained that I thought that it would help me really be able to feel how to get Gatsby in to an outline. After explaining this Fiona said I could have a go and three weeks later thats exactly what I got to do. I started out by riding with the saddle, just to be able to warm up, making sure that I could swing in the saddle without feeling restricted, we did a bit of walk, trot and canter work and mainly focused on getting him in the outline. I wanted to make sure that Gatsby was forward but also that he was willing accepting contact and moving in to the outline. I wanted him to feel that he was doing the right thing by accepting small amounts of pressure on the rein and only having to occasionally reinforce the contact and make it stronger.

After I'd rode for about 30 minutes with a saddle, it was time to try riding bareback. As you'll all know Gatsby is quite a big horse so we were trying to figure out for a while how I was going to get on him. I knew using the mount block I wouldn't quite be able to get the right amount of stretch as I'm just that little bit too small and I was riding in jeans (I won't be doing that again). So we decided to use the fence on the outside of the arena, to give me that little bit extra height so that I could just swing my leg over on to his back. It went surprisingly better than I thought that it was going to go and I was really happy getting on.

The first few steps felt STRANGE, I could feel every single thing and it was weirding me out, I could feel his shoulders moving, his back lifting when he dropped in to the outline. Just EVERYTHING. To start with I felt quite tense (because it was something I've never done before), but as time went on I felt able to relax and chill out and move freely. Gatsby looked and felt happier without a saddle than he did with a saddle. Fiona told me that I needed to do some trot work to see what it felt like and at first I was a bit like OH. MY. GOD. I can't do that. However when I gave it ago I found it so much easier to actually be able to sit to the trot, I felt like I literally could just stick to his back. I was so happy with it. We managed to get moments of really good strong outlines, we just need to work on steering more when I don't have the saddle, as I know that he listens more to hips and my hips just weren't quite level today. But that is something that I am working on at the minute through doing lots of stretching, walking and hopefully swimming to! Hey I might even get motivated to join the gym.  I learnt so much from riding Gatsby bareback today, and I know that the more I do it the stronger my riding is going to get. So Fiona said next week we are going to start off by just getting rid of the saddle straight away.

I will upload the photographs from todays lesson tomorrow, as right about now i'm just ready to crash in bed and get some sleep, as i have a busy but fun day ahead of me tomorrow.

Tomorrow I'm off to the last day of Chatsworth horse trials so I am sure that I will have lots more photographs for you guys then. So stay tuned!

Until Next Time

Still No Horse Time…

Thursday, 14 May 2015
…And I am going insane. It's weird the effects horses have on me but I feel like when I'm not around horses that often I'm just not very chilled out an calm the majority of the time. Yesterday and today have both been fairly quiet. I haven't really done a lot, I played on my playstation with Jack, completed a series of prison break, and did some more hula hooping to try and lose weight and tone myself up a little bit. Tonight I am off to work at the part time job that I share with Jack (The River Garden Chinese as a Delivery driver).

Saturday I am back to riding normally and I can not wait. I'm buzzing about it. This will hopefully be the week that I finally get to ride bare back but only time will tell. But anyway that's it and theres nothing interesting left for me to say.

Photographs and Explanations.

Well the blog front is still being quiet because at the moment I haven't got a lot going on to do with horses. After losing my job at the stables due to ill health and working a part time delivery job with my boyfriend to make ends meet I'm back to being at the stables once a week and this week that didn't even happen, due to Fiona's ill health. So I've seen a few people commenting not knowing much about my ill health with my stomach so I thought I'd spend this time sharing with you some photographs taken by my amazing mum and boyfriend and explaining more about my stomach problems.

So for those of you that don't know I have struggled with my stomach on and off since 2006 (when I was in year 7, 11 years old I think). Everyone thought that I was just complaining about having stomach ache because I didn't want to go to school, teachers tried blaming it on 'being bullied' or that I didn't like the lessons. Doctors kept telling me that it was growing pains and eventually 'you'll grow out of it' but to this day I never have done. I get a sharp stabbing pain in my stomach and behind my bottom left ribs, some days it's bare able other days I physically can't move or go any where. On top of this at my worst points I physically can not eat and end up being sick every time I try. I've been in hospitals for days and weeks on end, when they discovered my stomach problems caused a liver problem. I've also been diagnosed with endometryosis (not entirely sure how you spell that one to be honest). For the past couple of years my stomach has been fairly calm, I've still had the bad patches where I can't really do anything but that's been mainly when I've been stressed out. At one point last year I was even off all the tablets that I had been on, and I was buzzing cause it was the first time in a long time that I had been off them. However I am now in the process of going through more and more tests to try and discover what has caused this flair up. So that's my brief overview or history of my stomach.

Now on to the fun part, here's some more photos from Gatsby and I's last lesson.

Aha Gatsby is looking at me as if to say how many layers do you want to have on?

First attempting at doing leg yield this one was not particularly successful.

Actually managed to get a photograph were you can see the crossing over of Gatsby's legs while doing leg yield, compared to our first attempts this shows how much we are coming on.

Attempts at shoulder in.

Our last attempt at shoulder in.
