The way to heaven is on horseback

Today has been a long and at some points extremely tiring day. This morning we had got a lecture where we looked at different sculptures it wasn't the most helpful thing for me (photographer) but it was still interesting to see!  We then went to Hobby Craft Where I put a new white paint and a new water brush thing, I wanted to get some guilding (not sure how you spell it) flakes but they hadn't got only multicoloured ones so I didn't get any. Then we went to McDonalds for our lunch which was nice the funny thing was I bumped in to Evie while I was there so Charmaine and Evie got to meet.  When we had had our lunch we went back to the campus and did some work in the print rooms, I really enjoyed doing this (we used blue and red ink and made purple). I've never done until now Lino Printing so I'm enjoying playing around with that. They'll come in use for my Silk Screen workshop too, then we had an induction in to the Dark room, we didn't know we neede...

YES! We have finally got some sunshine here and the UK the horses were able to have there rugs off today and go outside without them and they LOVED it. Fussy and Hazel even got to stay out for longer than they normally would do! I'm loving it the evenings are getting longer, the heat is getting warmer meaning that Pony Club in the evenings is going to be son fun, it'd be fun in the cold to though!  Today I was riding Gatsby and a guy had already used him earlier in the day for a lesson, so he wasn't too muddy this meant that I got more time and was able to play with his tail and try plaiting it as I've never done it before properly on my own without anybodies help normally it was my mums! So today while Fiona and Elaine were doing other jobs and Jaimie-Leigh I did some work with Gatsby on plaiting and turned out with quite a nice cute plait it was messy at the top but he's had his tail pulled (think that's the right word) so at the top there's loads of ...

so as your guessing from the title of this post, its been a interesting day at the yard for the competition i got there at 9:30 to start getting Arthur ready for my test that was at 11:13 at least that what i thought was going to happen whoever said life was easy was deffo not telling the truth! Arthur's bum all plaited and pretty and looking good clean for once it makes a change! He was fine when it came to tacking him up and I even managed to stand behind him and get a picture of his bum butt if only it stayed that simple but it didnt! I tacked him up and things were going really well as much as I don't like him I thought things were actually going on him, He let me get on him, tighten his girth (thank god my stirrups were already long!) and start walking down towards the bottom school where I was going to be warming up!
