Thoughts

Well guys I have been sitting for the past hour trying to figure out what I wanted to put in a post because I am loving being able to update you all on the things that are going on in my life, now while the majority of this post is going to be not horse related by the end of it I am sure that I will have snuck something horse related in to this post Okay so to start with today was my mock art exam it was a total of 5 hours long, and I have done two of the hours today and then I am going to be doing the other 3 hours. During the mock we are to see how much work we can get done in 5 hours which is a third of the time that I get in my final exam which is going to be 15 hours, I really have no idea how I am going to manage 15 hours, drawing in complete silence with out my phone or an ipod, that could be interesting but that exam isn't til some time in May. However after my broken hand, in may and two christmas' ago when I draw or type for too long my hand starts to hurt. T...

Back to school

Hey everybody, I have been meaning to update for the past week if not longer but with going back to school i just haven't got round to it. So i went back to school a week ago today, I am really enjoying it and finding that it is something to keep me busy and help with the weight loss however I have found one problem with it i keep pushing myself to hard to get all my work done, and to get it done in advance leaving me feeling warn out and tired and slightly ill which my mum had said would happen so now i am working on balancing my time but not working too hard.  Also I am back to riding on Saturday the 22nd September so just over too weeks away and i will have lots of pictures for you, taken by my mum and lots of writing for you about what has been happening in each riding lesson and in february/march time you will all be brought along for the journey of me finding my own horse, and the buying processs and after that everything that is to come! Unfortunately now that i...

craft fairs, straight lines and textiles.

hi y'all well there's been no riding today unfortunately not sure when there next will be but hopefully there will be some soon as I am missing it like mad!  okay so today's thing that's got me thinking is... the horses Rhythm. Now to most people this doesn't sound that important but to us horse people it is a key thing when riding, whether when doing flat work or when Jumping. When Jumping it is Important to keep an even rhythm because it helps to set the horse up for the jump that is about to do and it doesn't make the jump appear to be sloppy. Also because if your horse keeps speeding up and then slowing down, it makes the horse unbalanced, which gives you more risk of knocking a pole down or of slipping out of canter (if that is the pace that you are in).  Another thing that I would like to mention is riding a straight line in a dressage test. When Gemma first started teaching me she spent two or three weeks making us ride a straight line which to st...

be child like not childish child like

paul smith Hey guys, sorry about the delay in updating it has been a pretty insane week, to say the least. After my fantastic ride on Gatsby on Saturday I was back up at broomfield on Sunday and was watching the open day which was amazing, I will post some of my favorite pictures from the day I took 250 so narrowing it down might be a little but hard but hey i will try to :P It was good seeing all the horses riding and then being able to give Gatsby some fuss too :') Then on Monday was a pretty boring day, back at school and we were just getting ready for meeting Paul Smith in textiles and other than that all we were doing was watching films, some which are weirder than others but was generally good, Tuesday bought on ART :'D which was good except Mr Davies was a bit of an idiot but hey what is different there? Wednesday night was more art, a lot more art, but it was good because he was in a better mood today and that obviously m...

JUST CHILLING

Hey guys sorry that i did not post much yesterday but unfortunately after four hours in the hairdressers i was just a little bit tired! and below is the finished product purple hair that straight but does look pink in one light and I love it! Purple and straight hair took for hours but it was so worth it! But even the simple thing of getting my hair done was a fiasco! Mum had sorted out getting my hair done and had spoken to Laura (who does my hair) at 3pm on friday afternoon and got told that they had deffo got the right colour in for me cause the colour that I like is an unusual one apparently! But they then rang my dad's mobile at 6 friday night saying the wrong colour dye had been ordered! So whilest I was watching my riding lesson on saturday morning mum was ringing around all the hairdressers to be able to get me this colour and she did eventually manage to get it! But on to the riding! So as you all know mum wouldnt let me ride because of my hand! But inste...
