goals for this year

Okay so I am still ill which is driving me mad, I thought that I would start feeling better after a better nights sleep but unfortunately that's not the case. Today I woke up feeling even worse, with stomach ache and chest pains as well, yo-yoing between being too hot and too cold. But the plus side to not being well is that it has given me time to reflect on things and my goals for this year. So I thought that I would take the time to share these goals with you. The first being that I want to move houses. I've known this for a little while but I'm becoming more determined. When I moved to Heanor it was only supposed to be a short rest stop until we moved in with Nicki that didn't work out (but that is a whole post for another day). I need to live closer to Magic, I need to be somewhere calmer where I can work the dogs without Jack panicking and where I can spend more time with Magic working on our fitness. I have seen a house that would be perfect but now it's...

Lazy day when you're full of Flu

Hi all, Well it's me again I really am trying to stick with my writing my blog more often, a) because I love writing it, and b) I know there was a couple of other bloggers that I really enjoyed this experience with. Last night I went to the gym and had a really good session. Up until recently I've only been able to do 15 minutes on the cross trainer on the weight loss programme but last night I managed to do the full time on the programme. I then went on to doing a cool down on the treadmill which was enjoyable, I never in a million years thought that I would enjoy spending time in the gym and not find it torture but I actually am really starting to enjoy myself. Today has been a much quieter day, unfortunately I woke up this morning not feeling very well, I think my flu symptoms have finally turned in to full on Flu and I feel awful! Jack's tribunal was this afternoon but unfortunately it got adjourned until he has got some more medical evidence. Hopefully thi...

Savings Plan - The start of Getting my own horse.

So as you will all have seen on my new years eve post I have decided that this year will be the year that I finally get my own horse (or at least that is the plan anyway). So tonight I have sat down and figured out what money I get and when, and how much gets spent a week, so I thought why not put it on here for you guys to see.  I also went to the bank today and put £131.00 in to my ISA Bank Account, this way it is being saved up but growing on interest at the same time. So that is £131.00 towards my horse already and it is only the 2nd January.  So here's my plan, for the next £12 weeks I have got £118.00 to spend a week. I have to remember the things that I do need to spend my money on. So here's what I have to spend my money on.  Petrol - To fill my car up it costs between £40 and £50 so I've financed to spend between £160 - £200 a month on petrol.  Vanquis - Credit Card that I need to pay off - £30 a month.  HSBC Credit Card - £30 a month....

Quiet on the western front

hiya everyone,  well there is nothing much to report here things have been pretty quiet, I've heard off Jack loads this week and it has been nice to have to just randomly chat too :) I like it when he manages to ring me more often but you never know with Jack some days he'll ring other days he won't. He hardly ever rings at the same time and most of the time he never tells me that he's planning on ringing. He quite likes waking me up in the mornings.  Today has been a more eventful day, I'm without a car at the minute which is doing my head in! My car is at BMW having new brake pads put on and possibly new brake disks as well so I don't get it back until 12.30 tomorrow because they have been too busy to manage to sort it today. I had a trip to the hospital with my dad (but that is a post for another day) and I got George (Jack's little brother) out of trouble.  The horse front is quiet at the minute as I am not at my stables until the new year n...
