The way to heaven is on horseback

Sorry guys it's safe to say that I have been slacking for the past few days. Things have just been really busy so I will start with Last monday and go through til today (Tuesday). Last Monday was pony club evening. It was also a badge evening. Which was really exciting as we haven't done a badge in a while. This time it was the perfect paddock badge that we had to do.We had to be able to set a 'paddock' up in the school using poles to show where the fences would be. Jumping blocks represented the shelter, hay net obviously was hey and the water bucket was water. We also had to answer questions saying what shouldn't be in the field, what should be, if there's three horses in the field how many piles of hay should there be. Then we had to do the more obvious question which was list a load of poisonous plants.  Tuesday I spent the day with George. We didn't do much.  Today has been a long day. I woke up this morning with the plan to sell my old I phone (which eventually I managed to do), get a contract upgraded to the HTC One in Champagne/gold colour (which eventually we managed) and go and see Dean in Hospital (which we didn't manage). So I'm going to go and see him one day later in the week, maybe Thursday because Friday is own a pony day, Saturday I help at the stables all day, Sundays I tend to not do a lot and then it's the end of the week.  I finally have a phone that I can charge in my house as well, I can't remember if I told you but I got the Sony Xperia Z1 in March. About a month if not longer ago it started only being able to be charged on my car phone charger (it wouldn't work off the mains socket or off my laptop), I know weird right? So today I managed to get the HTC One in a metallic gold colour. It's a lot lighter than my Sony Xperia and so far I'm loving it! I've moved all my pictures across fr...

so here's some more photographs that you guys have missed out on of me and Gatsby. These are the most recent lesson photographs I have got and in this lesson we were focusing on the canter and keeping it up hill and bouncing. Gatsby was great, I can't say that my riding was perfect but we are getting there slowly but surely.  Tonight was a pony club evening and we were doing the perfect paddock badge. Which I passed so I have now got another new badge to sew on to my pony club hoody which is great! I got everything right and then got half an hour of fussing and cuddling mr Gatsby. I love this horse to pieces! He lost another shoe on Sunday on his way to a dressage competition and it can't be put back on for another week and a half. Which will limit the amount of work that we do. However it is Own A Pony Day on Friday 9 until 2pm. Then Saturday is my weekly lesson and the day that I help out. That one word describes how I feel today, oh and so does aching! This morning I got the first lie in I've had all week, it still feels weird getting back in to the rhythm of going out early working (uni) then coming home and doing more work, but I'm loving it!  Today I went out with Dean and Sue for the day as I haven't seen them in a while, it was really nice to have a catch up and I also got to take some pretty good photographs if I do say so myself! I really enjoyed it and will post them tomorrow, I then went to my youth group and took some more photographs for them. Then when I had finished taking photo's I spent nearly 2 hours dancing on just dance! Majorly tired and ready to sleep but it's been a good day.  Until Tomorrow  A Girl With A Dream 

Yesterday I went to Skegness, we left early in the morning and it was a really long day. We left at 5:45 and got to Skegness for 9:00 in the morning it was earlier but it was good, I liked the fact that you could watch all the people setting up the rides, and that you could see them sending the Roller coasters round. To get them warmed up, it meant that I could see where they go before I decided whether or not I was going to go on any of the rides.  When everything was more likely to be open, this was about 10:30 we decided that we would go for a walk around the market, as I was walking around I kept mark of things that I liked so that I didn't buy things and then see something and think 'I wish I had bought that instead'. When we went all the way round while Dean got some drinks, Sue and I went to get the top that I decided was the one thing that I wanted, when I got there I realised that it said one size fits all and there was no where to try the top on so I decided ...

Now that I have left school I am getting up earlier than I ever had done before, but early mornings mean a reduction in the amount of time that I get to spend sleeping. Don't get me wrong I love spending time doing the things that I am doing but I also love spending time sleeping. Tomorrow I have the third earlier start that I've had in just over a week, I will be getting up between 5:30 and 5:45 to leave my house at 6am with Dean and Sue to go for a trip to Skegness. Since the beginning of the year we have been planning this trip and my mum has planned to have the day out tomorrow so we decided that there was no time like the present! I am hoping that we are going to have some really nice weather!  As I knew that I was going to be up early tomorrow morning I have spent the day chilling and doing some reading. My mum and I decided that we were going to go swimming in the evening as we hadn't been in a while, but when we got there we were told that we couldn't swim ...

Todays been a good but tiring long day, last night I didn't go to sleep until going on Midnight again, it seems to me that my body clock is messed up again! I woke up and had just enough time to get dressed and get out of the car to go out with Dean and Sue. The weather was rubbish, it was cold, wet and raining, it's June and the weather feels like it is the middle of winter. We had KFC for lunch and then went to Edale again which is a lovely dale in the middle of no-where it's dead peaceful and quiet but in wet weather it has a really eery feeling to it. We stayed there for a while just watching the animals and seeing what the animals did, it was lovely but would have been better like the first time we went were it was red hot and sunny. It was a really good day out we just spent some time chilling and talking.  This evening I then went to the youth group that I go to, there wasn't many people there and it was really quiet but it was nice and calm which makes a ch...

Yesterday Morning I got up earlier and was at the stables by 8:00, it was early but I was buzzing no matter what I am doing I love my horse time and there's something about mucking out stables that I find really therapeutic. When I got there we went and Fetched Gatsby and Rascal in, and the others all went out, I even got to take Dixie out who is so cute, I think those two shetlands are amazing! I then started Mucking out and did Soloman's, Daisy's and the shetlands stables. Once we had finished this we swept the rest of the yard, and Barry looked at the blocked drain on the yard, but couldn't get at it because it's under the tractor that we couldn't move until Fiona is back. When we'd finished we had a cup of tea and a chat which was nice and then moved on to doing poo picking. Now while this isn't my favourite job it's not a job that I hate either, I find it strangely therapeutic. The best thing is because it gets kept on top of it it doesn't ...

I am back! well i will be after tomorrow, this past week I've had both my exams so have been revising for them loads and am hoping that they both went well. So much fun recently yesterday I had a great ride on Gatsby and see generally fun day at the stables when I first got there fiona asked if I was going to the workshop on leg yielding and shoulder in that afternoon. I said that I would like to and fiona and Elaine said that if I wanted to i could stay and help for the afternoon. My ride on Gatsby was amazing I love it. I spent half an hour grooming Gatsby. When I got on he seemed quite lazy to start with so I decided to carry a crop in the walk he was dropping nicely in to the outline he was really stepping under the with his hind leg. We moved on to the trot and did some trot poles he was really stepping under himself ans he was really floaty he felt amazing. We quickly moved on to the canter to start with I wasn't using enough leg so I wasn't getting anything other than a fancy faster trot. This is just a quick blog post, I went out with Dean and sue again today and we had a really good time. As an early exams well done and getting a car present they bought me a bag that will go perfectly with my sixth form ball dress. I also had a dress fitting to do with letting my dress out that I ordered and came in the wrong side. Now all I need to figure out is how to have my hair and what to do with my nails.  I've taken my mini out everyday for the past couple of days. Changing my gears has become much smoother and my stalling has become less. We figured out that the reason that I was stalling was the fact that I wasn't putting my hand brake down fully. Once I realised this I was stalling less. I also managed Togo up a really steep hill now two days before when I tried to go up a less steep hill I stalled and my mum had to get in the drivers seat and get me up the hill. Hospital appointment went well this morning. I git left with an open ended appointment. To go back if I thought that there was something that they could do to help me. they said that they thought I was doing well with my coping strategies and being able to ride more, as well as setting myself small goals. So that's went really well. I then spent the day out with Dean and Sue we had a really good laugh and other thoroughly enjoyed it. We went past chatsworth and got to see all the deer they were so close to the road. It was an 'i wish I had my camera with me' moment. Then we just chilled out and had a laugh.  I also have some good news for the past two days I have been looking for cars more specifically a mini. Well we find two and neither of them turned out to be any good. We then found a red one that looked promising but by the time my mum got hold of the person the car was sold. My mum then found what they said was a 'british racing green' Mini One 1.4 for £6...

Tomorrow I am going to a hospital appointment to see the pain clinic I am not holding out much hope that they are going to be able to do anything as they said that they couldn't when I went to see them this time last year. But I agreed with my consultants that I would go because when it gets to June he will no longer be in charge of my care because i will move on to the adult doctors. so he thinks that by me going to the pain clinic it means that if I have a bad turn that I will have a link and someone that I can get in contact with.  After that I am going out with some friends that I have known for years and went out with a couple of weeks ago. I know that we are going for lunch to this awesome fish and chip shop restaurant so that's going to be awesome they seriously do the best ever chicken nuggets I love them.
