The way to heaven is on horseback

Things are going well with Magic, in fact with all the horses at the yard, as you all know I managed to Lunge Magic and Ride Derry on Wednesday, Thursday Magic got to do a little bit of work, then I lunged Sparky, and then hopped on Sonny for a little bit, before Friday Magic got lunged in the field to do something different. Over the weekend the horses had the time off, this is the time when Jack's off work so we tend to do things and then I focus on Magic while Jack is at work, we also didn't have a car this weekend. Today kick started the week off on the right foot. I had a lie in this morning when I got back from collecting a parcel and taking Jack to work, then mum came over and we tidied my Garden up before heading over to the yard. When I got there I lunged Magic for a while, we focused on staying in walk and trot and lunging for 7 minutes in each direction with no side reins. The past few days have been INTENSE to say the least. Both days have been filled with horsey madness and while I am aching now I feel good for managing to accomplish everything that I have done. There will be some video's soon but I honestly just haven't got around to uploading them and editing them so as soon as I do that I'll let you know and you can all see. Yesterday I went up to do Magic, after all the ponies nearly escaped from the field I eventually managed to convince him to come and do some work. He had a really nice groom and fuss, which he LOVED. Then I put his bridle with his new reins on, and his lunge cavesson (not sure if I have spelt that right), we lunged nicely for both ways doing walk, trot and canter. Then out of no where going to the right he exploded. Today is the 3rd of January and I'm sure that it's my third post of the year. I don't tend to make new years resolutions but this year I have made three, well I wouldn't call them resolutions but more goals to help me improve as a person. So below you will find my goals and how I plan on achieving them.  Lose weight\get fitter. I think that this is fairly self explanatory unfortunately when I get stressed I tend too either comfort eat or binge eat. Ill just start to be happy with my weight and then I'll get a snack attack. I also want to be healthier for Magic if I plan on doing in hand shows with him them I know I need to be more in shape than I am at the moment and just have better general health.  Snap less. Again this is a stress related when I get stressed or in pain I snap and take it out on people I care about, it needs to stop. I rode Gatsby today for my weekly lesson and it was amazing. With everything that was going on last week I'd needed a week just me and Gatsby to chill out and do what we do best, being us. This week I was straight back to working him an outline and trying to work him in an outline at the canter as well. We are slowly progressing to be able to do it but that is the operative word, slowly. We will get there in the end. We warmed up in walk making sure that he was nice and warm, that his muscles were working and also to give me a feel of him working in his new bit (can't remember what he's got now, but when I can remember I'll let you guys know). He was really responsive and listening in this bit even if he did try to hang off my right side at times but plenty of half halts and flexion to the right soon managed to sort this out. Well today has been a long day because I didn't get much sleep last night, but this morning I woke up to go and help my mum do the food shopping, and with it being Easter it was like going to a football match inside the supermarket! Normally when we pay it takes 5ish minutes to be able to start putting the food on the rail this time it took 15-20 minutes. Then when we got back, I played on a game on facebook and went out to do some jobs with my mum, including washing the car.  This evening I am babysitting for my nephew and am then going to be stopping for the night, as it was my sisters birthday yesterday, her boyfriend asked if I would babysit so that he could take her out for a meal. So they picked me up at five and then this evening when we got back we played some games, and ate pizza, lots of pizza, as well as breadsticks and celebrations! hey everybody, Tonight isn't going to be the longest post as it hasn't been one of the best days and at the minute I am pretty tired even though I have been asleep from about 6/7ish really not quite sure what time I fell asleep. I didn't update last night as my best friend Evie invited me over to hers and we watched Ghost rider and then part of the Green Hornet but we didn't quite manage to finish that.  Then today it was time for my riding lesson, there won't be any pictures of that though because the camera that I ordered for next day delivery didn't arrive today when I spent quite a bit extra and no-one knows where the camera has gone because somewhere along the lines the camera has managed to go missing or as my dad said someone might have stolen it. Hey everybody, I have been meaning to update for the past week if not longer but with going back to school i just haven't got round to it. So i went back to school a week ago today, I am really enjoying it and finding that it is something to keep me busy and help with the weight loss however I have found one problem with it i keep pushing myself to hard to get all my work done, and to get it done in advance leaving me feeling warn out and tired and slightly ill which my mum had said would happen so now i am working on balancing my time but not working too hard.  Also I am back to riding on Saturday the 22nd September so just over too weeks away and i will have lots of pictures for you, taken by my mum and lots of writing for you about what has been happening in each riding lesson and in february/march time you will all be brought along for the journey of me finding my own horse, and the buying processs and after that everything that is to come! Hey guys okay so this is just a quick one while its the break in Geordie Shore tomorrow i will update you all fully, sorry that I have not updated in a while unfortunately I have spent the past week in hospital with stomach pains,  and have come home with a whole load of medication, while tell you all more about that tomorrow unfortunately this means that I have not been able to see Gatsby but I am hoping to be back riding again soon and then I will have even more to tell you all :) Until then A Girl With A Dream

Well guys i will finally be able to update more and post more because I'm sure its been pretty boring with the major lack of riding time! Well that changes tomorrow because I AM BACK RIDING AGAIN! woop woop so got a lesson hopefully on Gatsby tomorrow but even if its on Arthur I am just going to be happy that I can ride again thats all that matters :') So tomorrow there will be pictures for you all!
