The way to heaven is on horseback

Today's been another day when I managed to accomplish doing some more art work. I decided that no matter how much I try and put off doing it I am still going to have to do it and I can't change that, so I'm  not going to complain (much) and just going to get on with it. Today I did an artist study that I'll be able to mount up Wednesday/Thursday time as I have run out of black A1 card, so that's two sheets down and just another four sheets to go! Then after I had done that I decided that I was going to do some English work too, before we broke up we got given a sheet that was split in to two columns, one column was filled in with important things to do with Paradise Lost and the other side was for us to fill in with links/comparisons/quotes from the White Devil.  I think to make it as thorough as possible for revision that it is going to take a couple of days for me to get it done. Happy Easter Everyone!  Last night the clocks went forward so we lost an hour of sleep, I kept looking at my watch this morning (I wear it 24/7) and it told me it was earlier than it was, so I just kept going back to sleep and then remembered that the clocks had changed. When I got up I did a bit of reading and then my uncle and his partner were coming round to visit my nan so I sat with them for a while.  I know that I have got a lot of art work that I need to get done over the next two weeks (6 sheets), so I decided that I was going to do some today and I was going to start of with working on Idea's and then tomorrow I am going to do an artist study. Today I did 6 Ideas and then mounted them so that was one sheet down, the ideas were based around a silhouette of a person but inside the silhouette's sunsets and trees. Today has been an interesting day but I really haven't done that much! I didn't get up til late on in the day as Mum thought it was best to let me catch up on some sleep. When I did get up I found that my mum had already been out to get me some mount board to do a project. We went out and did some jobs  then when we got back I started on my project, I decided that using mount board I wanted to mount and frame some of the photographs of me and Gatsby (I'll post more about it tomorrow). When I finished this I played on some games on facebook and then I got an urge to do some art work, so I've drawn out four ideas that tomorrow I am going to get up and paint and then when I have done that I think that I am going to do an artist review.  I really don't feel like writing a lot so I'm not going to tonight, tomorrow I will have a better post for you and it will include loads of photographs!  Until Next Time  A Girl With A Dream

As I write this I am sitting in my Art lesson, with nothing to do, although this probably won’t get posted until this evening, as the internet single in the art conservatory is rubbish. We haven’t got a lesson today because it is the year 11 art exam day one of two, so we get put in the conservatory where we have to sit in silence and work, which is okay but pretty annoying to be honest as the conservatory gets overly hot and there’s hardly ever any room because not only are year 13 (my year) in here as a scheduled lesson, but there’s also year 12’s that have come in during there frees to get some work done. As I got here a bit late, I’m not able to go in and get any paper so I can’t paint and as I can’t get on the internet so I also can’t do an artist study which was my original plan. Okay Rant over! UPDATE THIS SHOULD HAVE BEEN POSTED ON THURSDAY BUT FOR SOME REASON IT SAVED TO DRAFTS AND NEVER GOT PUBLISHED SO HERE YOU ALL GO :) There are some days that I just hate and today is one of them after being nervous last night about my results day today I didn't sleep, then when I got up I was dreading getting them I didn't have a good feeling and I was right not to, once again I got a U on the re-take of my textiles exam. My textiles teacher thinks it's just because I'm not good at the exam technique because she knows I know the work but it doesn't make it any less disappointing! Today was another pretty much full day in school, when I went in I had got double textiles I used the time to finish off my final garment which was roughly three inches of beading, so that it is finished four weeks early I'm really happy with this as normally I still have loads to do near the end and that's not the case this time. Today has been another long day, I woke up at 10:30 as I haven't been sleeping well and decided that while I was watching Jeremy Kyle that I was going to do some art work. I had already done an Artist study last night so all I needed to do was print it out along with some other art pictures that I needed to print out for a development sheet. But I then decided that because I wanted to use the Japanese cartoon style Mange for my final piece that I was going to do an A1 sheet that was based on what manga is and also different examples of Manga. I didn't go and see my nan today but my mum has sorted it so that she can go to the hospital outside of visiting hours in the mornings because my nan is getting so upset and confused. She should have been coming home today (at least that is what we were told on Friday) but it has now changed to that she won't be home until Wednesday at the Earliest. First of all I wanted to take the time to say hello to all the new followers and thank you for stopping by my blog, I hope that you like it and enjoy what I have to put.  Today I have spent the day doing art work, I was focusing on finding an artist that works with bright colours as this is the question for my exam paper, I eventually found an abstract artist, that uses a wide variety of different colours. It was something that I really enjoyed and had fun doing. I liked looking at the way that he worked and the paintings that he did. It was fun and an artist that I will remember.  I haven't really done much else, because my art took a  long time to do and I wanted to make sure that it was the best I could do so that I can pick up as many marks as possible, it also means that I can have tomorrow off and that I do not have to do any art in the morning. I have also spent some time reading a book, the book is about the Salem Witches and the murders, it's kind of grue...

Today I decided seen as my throat wasn't getting any better and I was just starting to feel rougher and rougher that it was time to go to the doctors and see what they had got to say. The only appointment was at 4:10pm and my little brother needed picking up at 4pm, so my mum dropped me off at the doctors at roughly 3:50 and then went to wait for my brother and to hope that I had got seen by the time that she had come back, wrong! It was 4:25 before my doctor called for me and when he did, he asked what was wrong and I told him, then he asked if it was okay to look at the back of my throat he did the whole lollipop stick to push the tongue down to see the back of my throat and it looked clear, hmmm confusing! Then he went to feel my glands and all I heard was 'wow' and then 'does this hurt', so I said yeah it was uncomfortable and making me feel sick, next he said 'your gland is the size of a golf ball' well lovely! That is not what I wanted to know, he doe...

It's been a few days since I have been able to post, and here is why. I have had a really saw throat, since before christmas my dad has had the bug that has been going around everybody, where you get the painful throat, no voice and feeling sick and rough as well. Well Sunday night my throat started really hurting and I was feeling really rough and just didn't know what was up. Well my voice has got progressively worse, If I talk for any longer than a few minutes then all you can hear is me croaking. I haven't even managed to get in to school yet this week, I am hoping to get into school tomorrow, as I really need to show my art teacher my work so that he can see kind of where I am wanting to head with my art work.  Seen as I haven't managed to get in to school this week I have printed out the photographs that I needed for my project and mounted them up this took two sheets of A1 Black card. This time last year I hadn't started writing a blog, I just simply didn't have the time for a blog, I had made one, but never bothered with it in fact i can't even remember what it's called or the password for it or anything! A year ago I was extremely stressed out as this was the final week for my art Unit One and then it was time for the Exam Paper to come out. Well not so this year, my art journey has been filled with ups and downs and a subject that I used to love, I now spend a lot of time hating but I think this is because of my Art Teacher. See my art teacher has to have everything his way and if it's not all his way then he gets grumpy. Earlier this year he was told that he was pushing me to hard and it was making me feel ill, I was over working myself and leaving no other time for any of my other subjects and because of this my Exam Results suffered a lot. okay so i was planning on writing a longer post for you lot about equi-theme and things that they do that I like at the minute, they have lots of things in pink which i totally love as I'm sure that most of you can tell that it is my favourite colour! So on monday I ordered a new riding Jacket that came in pink purple and brown, its a quilted jacket, and I can't wait to show you all it when I get it, but I haven't got it today so I am hoping that it will come tomorrow. I also plan on showing you all some of my favourite products that are in the horse market. Well guys I have been sitting for the past hour trying to figure out what I wanted to put in a post because I am loving being able to update you all on the things that are going on in my life, now while the majority of this post is going to be not horse related by the end of it I am sure that I will have snuck something horse related in to this post Okay so to start with today was my mock art exam it was a total of 5 hours long, and I have done two of the hours today and then I am going to be doing the other 3 hours. During the mock we are to see how much work we can get done in 5 hours which is a third of the time that I get in my final exam which is going to be 15 hours, I really have no idea how I am going to manage 15 hours, drawing in complete silence with out my phone or an ipod, that could be interesting but that exam isn't til some time in May. Hey, So todays my second day of my blog and at the moment theres nothing that interesting to say, why? Because nothing much has happened. But here goes... Setting goals is something I always have to do, to keep motivated otherwise I start thinking well what was the point in doing that? And being a person that's got a long term illness I have to keep motivated, so todays goal was art, and design a new logo for my mums business. So far the logo's come on really well and we have thought of a few possibilities so far 10! My favourite is shown above the colour scheme is chocolate brown, lime green and Pink (the brighter the better I say!), how about you let me know what you think? Another goal that I have been working on is losing weight as my riding school has a limit of 13 and 1/2 stone, which was great to start with but because of the tablets I am on my weight has gone up!
