6 month plans :)

Today has been a bit better day, my mum managed to get me a appointment with my regular doctor this morning to discuss being prescribed more morphine. After over a month of trying my GP saw me and within two minutes prescribed my regular pain relief, so now I can hopefully get my pain back to being under control which will help with the sleeping. I then came home and watched some T.V. with Jack before popping over to see my mum and get my new phone case. I then came home walked the dogs and did tea. So I've been spending a lot of time researching what I plan to do with Magic over the next few months and I have found some videos on youtube of things that I am aiming towards doing with Magic over the next 6 months. The first thing that I would like to say is that the videos that have been posted below are not my video's just things that I have taken inspiration from and would like to try. The first thing that I would like to try and do is lunging over poles, now for any ...

goals for this year

Okay so I am still ill which is driving me mad, I thought that I would start feeling better after a better nights sleep but unfortunately that's not the case. Today I woke up feeling even worse, with stomach ache and chest pains as well, yo-yoing between being too hot and too cold. But the plus side to not being well is that it has given me time to reflect on things and my goals for this year. So I thought that I would take the time to share these goals with you. The first being that I want to move houses. I've known this for a little while but I'm becoming more determined. When I moved to Heanor it was only supposed to be a short rest stop until we moved in with Nicki that didn't work out (but that is a whole post for another day). I need to live closer to Magic, I need to be somewhere calmer where I can work the dogs without Jack panicking and where I can spend more time with Magic working on our fitness. I have seen a house that would be perfect but now it's...

new year.. new antibiotics.

Okay so this wasn't quite the start to the new year that I had planned, but hey things don't always go as planned right? Yesterday Jack and I spent the whole day helping his mum and dad moving. We had to be at his mum and dads for 8 but this meant that we had to get up at 7.30ish and running on 2 hours and 50 minutes sleep it was safe to say that I was completely and utterly exhausted. I woke up yesterday morning with lots of little razor blades (or what it felt like) in my throat, throat and mouth all swollen feeling terrible. I knew that I was going to need to ring the doctors but decided that I'd help with the moving first and then ring them. While Jack was helping his dad with the heavy lifting I was helping his mum get the last few bits packed and then doing the last few bits of cleaning. We got everything moved by about 3pm, so while we were following his dad taking the van back I rang the doctors and got an appointment. We then went back to his mum and dads and they...

39. Testing day

Today has been a testing day it's been hard work tiring, a big fuck up (excuse the langauge) but I am so glad it's over with. I didn't sleep well last night but I got up at 8.1pam  to do magic. While I was doing his stable my mum and jack went to pick up some of jacka brothers stuff from his mum's house and thought that we were going to be dropping Josh off in matlock. When we got to matlock though we soon found out that the plans gad changed and he'd decided to stay where he was. Which aggravated me a bit as I had rushed to do magic but I wasn't really bothered because it was one less job to do.  I then had to go to the dentist (I hate them), and while I was on the way there I recieved a phone call from provation staying basically I was in major shit. My doctors had messed me about and decided to change my sick note without even telling me so they were then telling me that if I didn't turn up on Friday to do the unpaid work that at the moment I am to ill to...

32. Challenges

Well it is safe to say that the start of my new year, has been challenging, but as the blog is such a supportive world I feel comfortable enough to explain to you guys what's going on. Magic is doing great, he picks up his feet (all four without kicking), he walks in hand without being completely stupid. He plays the friendly game in parelli and is starting to learn the porcupine game and I am doing lots of reading on monty roberts and join up.  After a fairly heatEd argument with someone at the yard I decided to ignore his suggests, he is a firm believer in a firm hand and I'm a firm believer in being natural and calm,  don't get me wrong he'll get a tap on the nose if he does something drastically wrong. But the majority of the time a firm no in an angry voice works just fine with him. We had tried doing some work on trotting in hand but so far we haven't got very far with that and it was causing more problems then less. So we're sticking with where we are a...

11. Motivation goals, health and horsey calmness.

Today has been a long day and it is safe to say that I am knackered now. I ended up at my walk-in doctors this morning for theme to basically tell me to go back on sleeping pills as the paramedic felt that I am getting the the point of becoming an insomniac and that I am suffering with depression and anxiety/panic attacks. This is something that I have not dealt with before so I'm not actually sure how I'll deal with it really.  This morning my mum put Magics food in. Mum, Jack and I then went back to let magic out about 9.30 this morning, he had all four feet picked up and then walked to his field. Now the past two times that I habe let magic out he's been a pain for some reason when I walk him out to the field he gets half way there and then starts spinning around, running and just being a general idiot. I'm not sure what is causing it or why he is doing it but I am sure that I will figure it out soon. This afternoon jack and I had to help his brother do a few jobs ...

5. Playful ponies and pictures.

Well it is just me again. Magic went out in the field all day today. When I got there this morning I was greeted with my boy saying hello and his head hanging out of the door. I did his foot and gave him some fuss before it was time for him to go out. Now normally magic is really good to go out, but the past twice he walks as if he wants to go out and then stop and just refuses to move. I have no idea why he does this but one thing I do not let him do is win. He's starting to try and push his look now and that is the lastr thing that I want to let him do. I changed his foot again this morning and he was great for that he stood nicely and calmly and just generally chilled out. Tonight I went to bring him in as he is a out all day and then in at night. He let me catch him first time and as soon as he saw or more heard me he came up to me. He's turning in to a very clever horse all though he gets impatient because he knows when he comes in that it is food time. He let me wash hi...

Updates

Well I figured while I was dog sitting what better time to update my blog? For those that have me on Facebook you'll know that I haven't been very well recently, exactly a week ago I was in hospital and on Morphine, unable to eat or drink without throwing up everywhere, with a high temperature and extremely bad stomach cramps. The hospital couldn't tell me what was causing the pain but have told me to take it easy and not do a lot. So for the past week I've pretty much been bed bound or when I do go out not going very far. But I have had my amazing boyfriend looking after me, honestly he's been great, he knows how to deal with me when I'm ill but also knows how to kick my ass in to gear when it needs it, and my mum who has also been amazing, she's had to put up with my bad moods and hasn't even complained. So as I know you read this. Thanks mum! I haven't rode in over a week because I should have had my lesson yesterday but unfortunately I just wasn...

Another good day at the stables

This morning I got up nice and early to go and help out at the stables, when I got there Elaine was bringing Gatsby and Rascal in so while they started their breakfast I took both their rugs off for them cause it look like it was going to warm up and be a rather nice day. We mucked out and swept the yard making sure everything was in order and when we had done that we had a cup of tea before more poo picking in the fields. Elaine got 5 wheel barrows full out of the field and I got two, I couldn't believe how much there actually was there!  By the time that we had done this mum was there to pick me up, so I said bye to Elaine and Gatsby and put my things away then we came home. Mum, Robert and Dad unloaded the food shopping I got changed and waited for Anne-Marie to come over as it was today that we were burying my nan's issues. It was sad but nice to get everything done now and put to bed if that makes sense. Unfortunately all day I've had an upset stomach, I think...

Ball make up sorted and quality time with my best friend who is practically family.

Well I finally got round to putting the pictures up that I've wanted to put up for the last few days. Today's been a day full of activities including woke up quite late this morning so I went as soon as I was awake to get my pink filing cabinet that is going to be for the next few years at uni. I then drove back and had a longer nap I just felt so tired and with my ears hurting I didn't get much sleep last night. My mum came back to wake me up when my sister arrived. For a while we just sat in my nans bedroom talking so that my nan knew that she had got some company and that we wanted to sit with her. After a while I gave my sister some space with my nan and Evie rang to tell me that she was just about to have a shower and then head to mine. She asked if my sister would stay until she got there and my sister agreed. We went outside when Evie got here to play football with brody. Now for those of you that know me will know that I used to play football but I haven't in s...

Horse time tomorrow and a night with my best mate.

Today has been another long day but I am ending it with my best, mate so that is making me feel better. When I woke up this morning I couldn't feel all down the side of my face that I've got the ear infections on and when I tried to lie on that side of my face it made me really hurt. So my doctor extended the amount of time that I will need to need be on antibiotics and the ear drops.  Then my mum took me to get another new folder so that I now have a folder for my English revision as well as my textiles revision. I also got to refill note pads so that when I'm making notes I can take the Page out of the pad and put it in my folder so that I know everything is together. As I tend to lose sheets and things like that. Then I decided to do some more revision for both my textiles and English classes. I really want to get the best grades that I can so that I can still go to university this October to do my photography course. I'm really trying hard to do the things that...

Who knows what the future will bring

Yesterday was a long day where everyone was running on high emotions not only was in on edge because of the things going on with my Nan but I also had to go and see the doctor for myself. Some how I have managed to get two ear infections in one ear and an ear infection building up in my other ear now I am prone to early infections so I wasn't really worried to start with however as it kept getting more painful and uncomfy i decided that it was time to go and see my doctor so I have got to have antibiotics as well as ear drops. This morning I drove to school and was buzzing about the fact that I drove without stalling. The school day was a long and fairly boring day I handed in two essays and got given another one to do. When I got home my sister had come to visit my nan even though all she is doing is sleeping. after this I took my car for a longer drive ans was really pleased with how my driving went. Tonight my nan has got a night sitter but my mums gut feeling is that m...

Such a long day

Today has been a really long and tiring day with its fair share of arguments. When I woke up this morning I knew that I wasn't going to be at school because I had two essays that needed writing foe English. The down side of a weekend away is the fact that when I come back I have so much work to catch up on. It took me all day today write my essays. This morning my sister came around and it was sods law that my nan decided that it was today that she wanted to sleep in. So my sister asked if she could come back this evening my mum said yes. Well tonight my sister let everyone see how much she is not dealing with about my nan being ill. As she lost her temper one minute she was crying the next she was angry. To be honest I don't think that she nows how she is feeling.  At the same time as she did last night my nan decided that she wanted to start getting out of bed and that she needed to go home (which is exactly where she is). Well we ended up with the district nurse coming ...

Another Uneventful Day.

The good news is that after starting the antibiotics I am starting to feel better, I am still not 100% but it's a start and that is all that I need to keep me positive. Today has been spent doing art work and reading a book. I decided that seen as I wasn't going to school that I was going to do some more art so i did the last drawing that I needed to do to finish the A1 sheet that I was doing, then my mum came back from doing the shopping and had bought a new book that was based around the salem witches I've started reading it and it is really good so far.  Tomorrow I get to ride Gatsby, and dad should be coming to see him but the question is will I get to achieve another small goal, seen as I ride Gatsby I am hoping that I'll be able to but I will let you all know tomorrow.  Until Next Time  A girl With A Dream

Glands like golf balls!

Today I decided seen as my throat wasn't getting any better and I was just starting to feel rougher and rougher that it was time to go to the doctors and see what they had got to say. The only appointment was at 4:10pm and my little brother needed picking up at 4pm, so my mum dropped me off at the doctors at roughly 3:50 and then went to wait for my brother and to hope that I had got seen by the time that she had come back, wrong! It was 4:25 before my doctor called for me and when he did, he asked what was wrong and I told him, then he asked if it was okay to look at the back of my throat he did the whole lollipop stick to push the tongue down to see the back of my throat and it looked clear, hmmm confusing! Then he went to feel my glands and all I heard was 'wow' and then 'does this hurt', so I said yeah it was uncomfortable and making me feel sick, next he said 'your gland is the size of a golf ball' well lovely! That is not what I wanted to know, he doe...

Art and Illness

It's been a few days since I have been able to post, and here is why. I have had a really saw throat, since before christmas my dad has had the bug that has been going around everybody, where you get the painful throat, no voice and feeling sick and rough as well. Well Sunday night my throat started really hurting and I was feeling really rough and just didn't know what was up. Well my voice has got progressively worse, If I talk for any longer than a few minutes then all you can hear is me croaking. I haven't even managed to get in to school yet this week, I am hoping to get into school tomorrow, as I really need to show my art teacher my work so that he can see kind of where I am wanting to head with my art work.  Seen as I haven't managed to get in to school this week I have printed out the photographs that I needed for my project and mounted them up this took two sheets of A1 Black card. I then did some paintings these were images that I found on the internet a...

Finally updating you all about whats been going on

First of all i would like to say sorry to you all for not updating as frequently as I was doing I know i haven't been on a while, but do have a good reason. Well the past week has been rather hectic but I've decided to sit down with my laptop and update you all which could take quite a while. Back in April I started being extremely sick and this lasted for about 12 days, during which I had two anti-sickness injections and ever since then I've had good days and bad days where i start being sick and then the next day i will be fine again. Well not the monday just gone but two mondays before that I started being sick again! On the Thursday of that week I got put on a tablet called Nefapam, which unfortunately made things worse, is it caused me to not be able to sleep, and also to get horrible pins and needles all up and down my legs and arms. This lasted up until Sunday morning where my mum rang the out of hours doctors and I went to the walk-in clinic where all they told me...

hey guys :)

Sorry that it has taken so long to post something not had the best week, with being ill the past two days and spending all day in a&e with my sister, who ended up getting that fed up that she told the doctor, what she wanted the doctor said 'we will see' and then came back with a prescription for them, can tell you that was a nightmare, when the two of us hate dealing with hospitals! But the plus side was that I got to see my big sister, who I adore spending time with and also that I got to see my cute little nephew, who is one of the best things around, hes so funny to watch and has some really funny faces, and he can say my name! which is always a good thing. So i've not done much riding but I have been doing a lot of looking on line and have fallen in love with a new brand of riding clothes that I have got two hoodies from thats called, 'Rydale'. Don't know if anyone's got any opinions or comments on 'Rydale' Riders clothes but if you have l...
