Things are going well with Magic, in fact with all the horses at the yard, as you all know I managed to Lunge Magic and Ride Derry on Wednesday, Thursday Magic got to do a little bit of work, then I lunged Sparky, and then hopped on Sonny for a little bit, before Friday Magic got lunged in the field to do something different. Over the weekend the horses had the time off, this is the time when Jack's off work so we tend to do things and then I focus on Magic while Jack is at work, we also didn't have a car this weekend. Today kick started the week off on the right foot. I had a lie in this morning when I got back from collecting a parcel and taking Jack to work, then mum came over and we tidied my Garden up before heading over to the yard. Hello everyone,  Okay so it's been a really long time since I posted but this time it's not been because I was too tired or because I couldn't be bothered, it's been because I physically couldn't. So some of you that have me on facebook will know that I actually moved houses on the 8th March, this meant lots of decorating and actually left us without broadband for nearly three and a half weeks, when it should have been two weeks. BT have turned out to be a complete night mare but we have now finally got everything up and running, so I've spent the first couple of days catching up with my emails and the essential things and I am now getting back in to blogging both on here and my oriflame beauty blog.  So we now have a two bed flat that's quite spacious, the dogs enjoy having more room to run around and play, I enjoy having more room and room to actually put things where they belong, which isn't always the easiest of tasks, and Jack enjoys having...

Well the past few days have't really been that eventful to be honest. For the past three days I've been having health issues with passing out again, including yesterday passing out down my flat stairs while on the way to take my dog out. Which I've got to say was quite painful and uncomfortable. I've also been none stop sleeping for the past few days and really couldn't tell you why, I'm just not able to stay awake for whatever reason.  Magic is doing really well on Monday I thought that he was a bit off, Mum had bought him in from the field in the morning as I wasn't very well and fed him and then I went up to see him in the evening. When I got there we did a bit more work on getting him used to having his bit in, which i've got to say he excelled himself at, and as he was walking around he didn't look 100% himself. But then as I went to put him in the field I noticed that his front right leg (if you were looking at him from behind) looked like...

Sorry guys for being MIA for a while I've only just managed to get proper wifi sorted in the flat up until Wednesday I had been using a dongle that my mum paid for and then on Wednesday I finally got a telephone line fitted and broadband. I started off by using talk talk, but they were telling me that it was 'normal for it to take 45 minutes for it to load one page'. So then I went in to town and connected to Virgin and as soon as it was fitted it was working straight away on some of the fastest broadband speeds that I've ever seen which was amazing.  Magic is doing really well, he's turning into a lovely sweet horse. He loves being brushed and the other day he had his first proper bath, only for it to rain the next day and magic to end up rolling in the worlds biggest puddle ever. He came in looking like the worlds biggest mud monster ever. He's also getting loads better at picking his feet up, we still have lots more work to do on the back ones but he...

well i have finally managed to get up to date with reading everyones lovely comments on my blog! I would just like to say a massive thank you to everyone that still comments on my blog. I really do appreciate not only the feed back but also the help that you guys give me. I feel that by writing a blog, I have created a whole online support system I know that might sound insane but it's just how i feel at the moment. Magic is coming on in leaps and bounds, he still has things that he hates me doing. Like at the moment it's brushing his tummy because he's all knotted from the mud, the length of the fur and the fact that it changing from a baby winter coat to by the looks of it a nice summer coat. He's got loads better at having his feed put in to the point where I now just go in and put the food on my own. He's really getting better with doing that. hiya guys, I'm trying this new app on my phone for weeks I've been trying to get it to work and it's finally decided that it wants to work!  I've not got much to update you all about really. I'm going out for lunch with my mum and uncle today at the white Hart which i haven't been to before. I've also decided that I am on a get fit mission again that means time to stop snacking at night time like i have been doing, I'm also going to be doing the 30 day ab challenge. That means sit ups, push ups, planking etc. Also back to walking my dog again and going to be doing the couch to 5k training. So we'll have to see how it goes. Today has been a good day. I woke up nice and early. Did some research and then I went back to chilling out. I then met up with my boy and we took Klaus for a two hour walk and while my legs aching now I really enjoyed.  I always have a good time when it's me and Jack and Klaus. We can chill out or be hyper and we always end the day on a good night. The thing I love about Jack and I is that we are best friends before we are a couple and that's how it's always been.  Tomorrow I am back in Uni which I am looking forward to as it means that I can get really stuck in to this equestrian photography project that I am doing.  Until Next Time  A Girl With A Dream 

This morning I woke up just in time to go for my riding lesson, when I got there I got to work on grooming Gatsby and I was amazed to see how shiny he was. He looked so clean. When I went to tacking him up we decided that we were going to make a few changes. First of all we took away his martingale we might use it when jumping him but for now when doing flat work we aren't going to use it. We then changed the bit, I can't remember what bit he had got in before, I think it was a gag. But then we put him in a snaffle with a lozenge joint.  As soon as I got on him the difference was amazing. He was forward and responsive and I was still managing to almost get him in an outline so I was happy with the work that we were doing. As soon as I asked him to warm up and stretched he dropped straight in to working long and low and it felt great. He was really swinging in the walk and it felt so nice to not constantly be putting my leg on to get him more active. We all noticed the diff...

Yesterday I had a really good ride on Gatsby. The weather has become really hot these past few days making it hotter than anything that Gatbsy or I am used to, so while I wanted to do something productive I also didn't want to over heat either one of us. Fiona said from the beginning that we wouldn't do canter work or jumping, out of the three horses (Rascal, Gatsby and Rosie) Gatsby is the worst colour for attracting heat and also the one who attracted flies the most.  When I got there, I spent some time grooming him and giving him so love, he was so shiny! It was like looking in a mirror, I then tacked him up making sure to put his ear covers on, this was the hardest thing for me as he doesn't like having his ears touched but he is getting so much better at it! I then also made sure to put some fly repellant on him with the hope that it would help to keep the flies at bay, unfortunately they still kept attacking him.  When we got on we spent some time walking aro...

Today has been another good but long day, I still didn't sleep well but I've been busy all day today so I am hoping that I will sleep better (although I do have an early start tomorrow). This morning I woke up and just watched tv and did some reading as I hadn't got any plans for the morning.  This afternoon was busy but fun. I had my first driving lesson with my new driving teacher and it went really well! He asked me what I knew how to do and I told him the things that I knew. We then started driving and he said that he wanted to do assess my driving. We had been driving for a little while and he said that what we were doing was too easy for me so we moved on to doing hill starts and things like that. It went really well, and he said that I can do my test soon, and I should only need 10 lessons. Then I can drive by myself and tomorrow I will be hearing more about how my car is doing, hopefully I will get it back towards the end of the week!  After this I went up ...

Okay so this is a little bit late but I have been wanting to do it since the new year, with the new year been and gone I decided that it was time to give my blog a new look. I've spent so long looking for a blogger template that I really liked and I couldn't find any until I stumbled across this one by accident and I decided that I really liked it. I think the thing that I liked the most about this template is that I could put a slider in, so I chose four of the pictures I have of Gatsby and make them in to a slider, so all you need to do to look at them is click the green arrow that it shows. Let me know what you guys think. Also it means that my slider can change depending on the time of the year and that kind of the thing making my blog a bit more seasonal! I think the only thing that I would change would be that this is a three column template not a tow column template, does anyone know if there is a way to decrease the amount of columns from three down to two?   So f...
