If only I could sleep 24/7

Now that I have left school I am getting up earlier than I ever had done before, but early mornings mean a reduction in the amount of time that I get to spend sleeping. Don't get me wrong I love spending time doing the things that I am doing but I also love spending time sleeping. Tomorrow I have the third earlier start that I've had in just over a week, I will be getting up between 5:30 and 5:45 to leave my house at 6am with Dean and Sue to go for a trip to Skegness. Since the beginning of the year we have been planning this trip and my mum has planned to have the day out tomorrow so we decided that there was no time like the present! I am hoping that we are going to have some really nice weather!

As I knew that I was going to be up early tomorrow morning I have spent the day chilling and doing some reading. My mum and I decided that we were going to go swimming in the evening as we hadn't been in a while, but when we got there we were told that we couldn't swim because there had been an accident in the pool area and they were still doing all the cleaning up! I've never known this to happen so I think that it must have been something pretty horrible that happened. So instead we went upstairs to the spa area and spent some time in there instead, we spent time in the hot tub and steam room and it was really nice. When we got in this evening I spent time just relaxing and watching tv.

I'm now off to bed to get a good nights sleep for what should be a good day tomorrow, there might even be some pictures! Who knows cause I don't know yet!

CON ARTIST - NICKI WILLIAMS - BEWARE

Okay so this post has taken me a while to post for several reasons but the main one being just how angry this woman has made me.  For those of you that have been following my blog for a long while you will know that back around October of 2016, I was introduced to a woman called Nicki Williams, she was a friend of a friend that was supposed to be opening a centre for rehoming and rescuing animals, but also for horses working with soldiers that has PTSD. We hit it off straight away and came what I thought to be good friends. However warning bells should have probably rang sooner. By January or February of last year the horses that I had agreed to look after (that she had got on loan) Bella and Arthur, she was being threatened that she would have them taken off her by the control of horses act, because she hadn't been paying the rent for the field. Although Nicki reassured me that she had done, she even showed my 'payments' that had been made to Angie. I ended up getti...

Magic's 2nd day in his new home

It has been a while since I have posted on here but I thought it was the perfect time to restart the blog. So to start with I'll give you all an update on what's been going on over the years since I've posted and then I will be back to regularly posting and keeping you all updated on the world of magic.  The first big change who I need to introduce is Jaxon, Jaxon is mine and Jack's 7 month old baby, he was born on the 7th July 2020. Part of this blog will be dedicated to overcoming the challenges of having a small child and owning a horse, even when everyone told me it was impossible to do. Jax has a best friend Bailey who is mums new 1 year old puppy and he has the best time trying to play with her.  Of course Magic is one of Jaxon's best friends.  Now for an update on Magic, he is doing really well, I can't remember if I ever told you, but he moved yards last year when I was pregnant with little man. Unfortunately this yard just didn't quite ...

Olympics - good bad or both?

In the Beijing Olympics in 2008 the horses used in the pentathlon were said to cause farcical scenes with fall after fall after fall. This was said to be the fault of the horses that were either hired or loaned to the competitors. It was not blamed to be rider error or a combination of both rider error and horse error, it was labelled as being the horses fault or this is what it said in ' Horse and Hound Magazine'. This horse was said to have been to spooky and sharp, but is it not a combination of rider's aids and rider error AS WELL as the horse being spooky. Can we really just blame it on the horse, when we are the ones that tell the horse what to do, by no means am i saying it was 'just the riders fault' couldn't it have been a combination of both?.    For the London 2012 Olympics it was said that a total of two years if no longer was spent attempting to find the right horse for the right competitor. They made sure that the horse was at the right l...
